“Did you find any lead yet?” I asked Dean.

He shook his head in response and I was feeling more frustrated. She was nowhere to be found and it didn't even make sense that I was being worried about her.

I just didn't want people to start assuming the worst or pointing fingers at me like I had something to do with her disappearance.

“So? What do you think happened to her?” He asked me.

We've tried sending a letter to other packs while trying to keep everything low-key, but it wasn't even much help because they don't even have any leads on her.

I took a deep breath and replied, “You can tell her father to fuck himself because I have no hands in her disappearance. Okay?”

He looked a bit surprised by my outburst but dared not say anything, so he just nodded in response. “Yes, Alpha.”

I turned to leave but was surprised to see Ava at the door. She looked very annoyed, her hands folded together and she gave me a look that indicated she had probably eavesdropped on us.
