MONTANA'S POV

The witch took the bracelet and the ring, placing the bracelet into the tissue of my wrist while doing the same to Luke, as she placed the ring, into the tissue of his finger, muttering, "Alarath vi zyrry azh, du'rast lon."

After placing them while I winced from the pain of the shells embedded into me, the witch might have done something to accelerate the healing process for both Luke and me.

The bracelet was now embedded into the flesh of my wrist, around it, but you could see sharp shells poking out on top.

Same for Luke too, except the round part was what was embedded into his finger, while the top of the ring, where the sharp shells decorated, was visible.

It was like that particular finger was the ring, inseparable, just like my wrist and the bracelet.

I felt pressure and a bit of discomfort since this object was now placed beneath my skin. I had no idea what it was doing to me.
