                        CHAPTER 5

MONTANA'S POV

TEN YEARS LATER....

I had found out I was carrying two pups, twins and now look how time flies and how they are all so grown up. My twins were now ten years old and I loved them more than anything.

At first, when I found out I was devasted, I did not think I was ready to bring anyone into this world but there was this girl I had met, her name was Victoria and she was a werewolf from a pack called the Moon Stone Pack. She had wanted me to join her pack but since I had decided not to join any pack and just live my life, I declined her offer although we got close and turned into best friends.

The first time in my life I had a friend who I trusted and the feelings were reciprocated. She was the one who had talked to me about not making the biggest mistake of my life because I was going to abort the stranger's babies and soon enough, I fell in love with the idea.

And here I am now, a single mother of two handsome and beautiful twins. The boy was named Zane and the girl was named Zendaya. 

One evening, I needed something urgently and Zane, my ten-year-old son offered to go get it but I did not want him to go alone although the place was not far from our home and after some thinking I let him go get it.

Hours had passed and still, the boy was not back home. I was getting worried and the first person I called was Victoria. She wasted no time in common and we went out to look for Zane, Zendaya I, and Victoria. We searched everywhere and there was no sign of him, we even asked people if they had seen him and no one had anything good to offer.

I was already panicking as I looked around, an attack, I could not breathe, my son, "Victoria, my son, I- I don't know where my son is", my voice cracked, "I should not h-have let him go by himself, especially when my mind was not s-sure".

"Calm down, we will find him. I will call some good trackers from my pack and they will get to work", Victoria quickly said as she opened her phone and made a call.

I nodded, Zendaya also trying to offer me some support as we hugged each other, "Don't worry", I said to her, "we will find your brother".

All the while this was happening and Victoria was putting in some calls, my phone rang and it was an unknown number.

I picked it up, maybe it was Zane cause he knew her number from his head, "Hello?", I answered.

"Mommy mommy!!", I heard my little boy cry out.

"Zane my baby, where are you? Hm? Tell me and I will come pick you up immediately.... don't b-", but before I could finish a voice spoke up.

"If you want to see your disrespectful child again, you better be here and you have an hour", The man behind the voice said as the call ended.

Victoria on using her werewolf hearing had heard everything and came closer to me, "Who was that? What address?".

"Nothing, I don't know, I did not fully understand", I started rambling confusingly until a message pooped up from that same number. I checked it to confirm it was the same and there was the address.

I let Victoria see it and she gasped, "What? What's wrong?", I asked her, 'cause it seemed like she was in shock or something.

"That is my pack's address", Victoria muttered also confused and trying to figure out who could be behind this.

"Well, we have got an hour to be there and save my boy. We will figure out everything when we reach there", I said as we all, including Zendaya, got into Victoria's car. We could not leave Zendaya at home all alone with what had just gone down.

A few minutes later, they were at the Moon Stone Pack, "This is it, welcome to my pack and home", Victoria welcomed them, "Although this was not how we envisioned this to be still welcome."

Despite everything I chuckled and as soon as the car was packed...

LINCOLN'S POV

"They are here although they came with your sister", Sean informed me.

"My sister? How?...hm anyways go get them and bring them to this building", I said firmly as he went to get my visitors.

I turned over to the little one and smiled scarily but he was not scared of me one bit, "Weird", I muttered.

"You are the weird one, making funny faces at me", The little boy in front of me said back with so much confidence.

I was shocked cause no one had ever challenged me in all my life, normally people, grown-ups are terrified of me, and talk less of kids but this one, this one was something else and I decided to teach this kid a lesson. 

"You think you are so brave right?", I stepped forward to the little boy, my growl only soft but yet having such strong power in it. The kid was not talking anymore and his eyes were shut, "Open your eyes child", I commanded.

I wanted this little child to know who the boss was and I had no idea why I was trying to do that with a little kid but anyway, it was somewhat interesting. The little boy opened his eyes and pulled my nose hard, "F-fuck", I groaned out in pain and went to grab him but the little boy bolted although not for long as I got a hold on him, and with one hand pulled him up.

"Not so fast child".

"Do not hurt him!", I heard someone say and that sounded like a threat and I wondered who would dare, threaten me.

I looked up to see a lady with a little girl and my sister with them. My sister's part will have to wait for now but I suppose this is the boy's mother, "He belongs to you doesn't he?".

But before the lady could speak up, the little girl by her side, who I think would be the same age

as the boy I was holding started screaming, "Father, Father".
