Chapter 2

ROSE'S POV

As I thought I was locked in the basement during the time of the Princes' visit. It has already been a day since I am locked and am extremely hungry. Though usually I just get the scrapes left in the end, it is still better than nothing. I was lost in my thoughts when I smelt crisp apples and cinnamon, and a minute later the handle of the door moved but I did not move or make a sound as I would be beaten later if I do so. 

Soon that smell was joined by 2 other intoxicating smells, soil after rain, and wood / forest a few minutes later the door opened. I went out carefully and as I took a deep breath my eyes widened cause after years I heard my wolf and the first word she said is MATES. 

Unintentionally I repeated that aloud snapping my head towards the 3 hottest specimens.

* Rose: Mates! Mine!

????? : Mate! Ours! *

That's all it took for me to pass out.

XANDER'S POV

As soon as she heard us her eyes rolled and she was about to fall but I caught her and took her to the infirmary with everyone following me. 

The doctor checked her and said that it was because of shock and weakness. Listening to this made my blood boil and it was safe to say my brothers had the same thoughts as me. Just the thought of our mate being so weak made me angry. How dare these people mistreat their future Queen? I will never tolerate this and she will not be here for even a second longer.

*Xavier: Mr. Logan (Alpha of Scarlet Rose Pack) we found what we were looking for, we will see you in Royal court for your hearing regarding your behavior and maltreatment towards our mate. Let's go everyone. *

Us along with our Mate and Warriors left the territory of Scarlet Rose pack and headed towards our plane which will take us back to Rome where the royal Pack is. (Rome is the city where the whole werewolf royalty is since the first king).

ALEX POV

It took us 4 hours to reach our homeland. I took a look at our mate in Xander's arms and the want to hold her was making me weak but it was better if we let her be for now. Once she is healthy I won't let her away from my side. We soon reached the pack hospital and she was immediately attached to some fluids to provide her body with necessary nutrients. 

THIRD PERSON POV

It has been 13 hours since they arrived. Rose has been unconscious since they found her. The boys have been sitting beside the bed. None of them have neither eaten nor spoke to anyone. It can be easily known that they are just moments away from lashing out at the poor doctor who is nervously praying for the future Queen to wake up. 

MEANWHILE

ROSE'S POV

When I first opened my eyes I saw a beautiful woman in white dress looking at me fondly. I got up scared and made as much distance as possible. And surprisingly it did not offend her rather her smile saddened.

* Rose: who are you and where is I? 

??? : Dear , I am the Moon Goddess , you can call me Selene and to answer your other question you are in your unconscious mind .the reason you are here is that I need to tell you something important.

Rose: your highness.

Selene: Call me Selene please. The thing is that, by now you probably know that you have 3 mates, the Princes to be exact. And though you might be shocked all four of you are meant to do great things. I know it must be a shock to have three mates but believe me they are the ones who will end all your miseries and give you everything you deserve. They will protect and love you till their last breath. Give them a chance sweetie.

Rose: Yes, Selene

Selene: Thanks my dear. Now follow the light to be back where you belong. They are restless. *

I did as she said. And soon found myself fading into darkness. ..... . This time when I opened my eyes. I saw the 3 hot guys from before looking at me. I was confused at first regarding where I am, but when I saw a man in white coat I understood that I am in a hospital.

* Doc: Hello dear! I am Luke and it's nice to know that you are awake after 13 hours. I have to say that you are very weak and need to gain a lot of weight to be able to have appropriate weight -----

Rose: are you sure you don't mean loose since my whole pack calls me fat.

Doc: oh my! Not at all dear you actually need to gain weight you are way too underweight, don't believe what those people said. Now alphas I am leaving this responsibility on you.

Man 1: sure 

Doc: you can be discharged now but please come back for weekly checkups and call me in case of any emergency.

Rose: sure doctor

Doc: call me Luke 

Rose: I'm Rose

Man 2: let's go Rose. See you in a week Luke.* 

XAVIER'S POV

Once all the formalities were done we took her to our house and told her to shower and get changed and we will talk after that. She did what we asked her to. While waiting for her Alex got her some food. 

It took her 10 to 15 minutes to come out. When she neared our bed Alex told her to sit beside him while placing the tray of foods on her lap and took a bite of everything to assure her. Slowly we started to introduce ourselves.

* Xavier: My name is Xavier and these are my brothers Alex and Xander. I am the oldest and Dander is the youngest. I know that there are many questions and rest assured all of them would be answered but for now you should eat while we explain.

Rose: Ok

Alex: So as you know us three are your mates and Princes of the werewolves. I know this situation is very unusual but it is not impossible. And I know after what you went through it will take time to trust us but don't worry we will wait for as long as you want and will always love and protect you. 

Xander: as Alex said we will love you and protect you, I promise.

Rose: Thank you! But please don't ever reject me. I will do all the chores on time and take my beatings quietly

Xavier: babe. What are you talking about; we will die before we reject you. And you are going to do no chores you are just going to stay with us and be our life.

Alex: and we'll die before we hurt you or let anyone hurt you. You are my kitten; no harm is to come your way. Where did all these thoughts come from? 

Rose: My old pack members. They used to call me names and say that my mate would reject me. I used to do all the chores since I am the runt; even the omegas had better life than me. I was also beaten for no reason. That's why.*

ROSE'S POV

I finished telling them everything just to hear a loud growl from Alex as soon as I looked at him my breath hitched. I saw him........
