Liana's POV

As I walked through the police station, my mind filled with worry and confusion, one part of me strayed towards Kayla and the evidence that she told me that she had. Whatever evidence that she had had better be worth me coming here to the police station.

On the other hand, the terrible accusations Conan had made against my father echoed in my thoughts, clouding my judgment and stirring up a whirlwind of emotions, and to worsen it I was scared of the fact that he hasn’t called me since the day that it all happened.

His silence was scary and my only hope was for things to be fine. Since my father had told me about what had ensued, I guessed it was time for me to tell Conan the whole truth so that the enmity between them would end.

All of a sudden, I paused on my track, my eyes almost popping out of its sockets. I couldn’t believe my eyes and I couldn't believe that Conan was standing before me.

The fact that we had met again in this unexpected place, under such circumstances
