Embarrassed in public

Conan's POV

Kayla's eyes blazed with fury at where she was standing and to worsen it, she kept rubbing her hands in her baby bump while shaking her head vehemently.

Her voice broke as tears cascaded down her cheeks. "They are trying to frame me again like always, that is not even my picture! Why can't you all just allow me to be happy for a day? Why must you ruin my happiness, I am pregnant with my child" Her voice was barely above a whisper as she ran her hands through her hair, scuffling it in the process.

My gaze fell on Connor as he almost lost balance but was quickly held by Bruce Lawrence who stood beside him. Somehow, I felt pitiful towards him but I still felt that he deserved that.

That was his Karma and it would be better if he had accepted it with whole heart.

"This is a lie and what the hell is this? You all can come up with something better than this! You should have known that I can't be taken down, I am pregnant and that is what it is" Kayla screamed at the top of her l
