However fun it was and the thrill I got, being a keyboard warrior soon got tiring. After replying to a large number of hate comments and having to think of creative insults, I was drained and decided to call it quits.

But it was fun while it lasted.

I checked on the message I had sent Alex, and the delivery status showed delivered, but I had yet to get a reply from him.

Against my rational thought, I decided to call him again, just to show that I care. If I had known, I shouldn’t have bothered anyway because he didn’t reply.

It was safe to say that I gave up, although a part of me was still worried about him, and the fact that I hadn’t been able to communicate with him since yesterday only added to the worry.

But I tried to push it back. He was fine; he just needs to settle some things, and he may not be near his phone. I tried to reassure myself.

I was content binge-watching the latest TV series while I waited for his arrival.
