I was torn.

I knew Alexandro hadn’t been sleeping with Alisha and Alisha was trying to mess with me. I knew it was spite because Alexandro had dismissed her for me. And I was still mad at him, for hiding from me, for hiding her from me.

I looked at the phone, trying to reread the location Bella had given me. It was somewhere on this street but Bella hadn’t been descriptive enough. She insisted there was this very awesome restaurant in this neighborhood and she wanted us to meet there instead of our usual. My mood called for something new so I agreed.

After I was done with her, I would take a walk on my own, explore the city, and then get Lisa from the vet before I returned home.

Once again I had to draw a line with Alexandro, we both weren’t ready yet. I wasn’t. My phone buzzed reminding me of my appointment with Dr. Sasha. I had forgotten.
