I knew I had bitten off more than I could possibly chew.

Alexandro was went out of sight after he threw Ian a punch, I had to commend Ian for not returning it.

I could feel his gaze on me but I didn't see him no matter how I turned. I thanked and apologized to Ian who didn’t seem offended in the slightest.

“If Alexandro gives you a tough time, you can call me.” Ian offered. It was funny that both father and son offered me their number. I hadn’t seen Anthony all through the party.

“I didn’t see Anthony today.” I voiced my thoughts and was surprised to see Ian frown.

“Do you both have any… unfinished business?” He stepped a bit closer as he asked the question, making the question sound personal.

“Of course not. I only noticed that I haven’t seen him.” I said hurriedly. “Goodnight Ian. Thank you once again. I had a lovely time today.” And now I was going to pay for it.
