Kidnapped!

“You should be more careful next time,” I warned as I bent to pick up the key. “What if there’s no one to help?” I stood and stretched the keys to her. “Here.”

She didn’t move to collect it, instead, she stood there, tears gathering in her eyes. “I’m sorry.” She muttered.

“What do you mean?” I asked, confused.

I received my explanation when the van door slid open, the van covered the view of the people in the building. No one would see what was about to happen. Not even the CCTV. Fear gripped me, from deep down my bones.

Two men dressed in black alighted from the vehicle and stood by my sides. The front mirror slid down to reveal the face of a man in a dark glass, unlike the others, he wasn’t wearing a mask. I could see his smile. It was like he was enjoying this moment, or maybe the anticipation of what was to come.
