As I walked up the stairs, I could hear the sound of laughter coming from my room. I pushed open the door to find my sister, Jaela, and my lover, Clarissa, sitting on my bed, passing notes back and forth and giggling. A smile spread across my face as I watched them, happy to see them getting along so well.

I walked over to the bed and sat down next to them. "What's so funny?" I asked, trying to peek at the note in Clarissa's hand.

Jaela and Clarissa shared a glance before Jaela turned to me with a grin. "It's just girl stuff," she said with a shrug.

I rolled my eyes and leaned back on the bed, pulling Clarissa close to me. "Well, I hope you're not talking about me behind my back," I teased.

Clarissa leaned her head on my shoulder and laughed. "Of course not, silly. We're just gossiping about other people."

I wrapped my arm around her and grinned. "Well, as long as it's not me, I don't mind."

We all laughed and continued to chat and joke around for a few more minutes before Jaela excus
