The Three Alphas (Part 4)

“No!! Tell me you’re joking, Sir Gale?” Sky was pleading at the Alpha, as she already felt some chills coming from behind her, where Soma constantly looked at her with a smirk on his face.

“I am sorry, but I wasn’t joking, your pursuer maybe gone for now, but Alpha Arthur probably already sending his spy, we have to make sure they lose your scent and we successfully put a decoy away from the mansion,” Gale explained their situation, while he approaches her on the bed, he put his hand on her arms and smile. “I am sorry, I know this is not going to be a comfortable situation for you but trust me, we would never do something that you don’t want to do, we are going to respect your opinion in every matter at hand.”

“But, you need to remember, your choice to be neutral will give you a disadvantage, we can’t help you if you don’t choose us as your mates.” Payne reminds her of the difficult choice, as much as she abhors the solution to her problems.

She bites her nails, one of her bad habits of her. Gale, who got distracted by her munching on her nails, tried so hard not to approach her and stop her mutilating her nails.

“It seems our princess has some bad habit.” Muttered Soma, his eyes still looking at Sky in the bed.

Glaring at the man, she finally stopped munching on her nails, although it was hard not to do so. “Fine, I’ll stop… I need something from the three of you.”

“What is it?” Asked Gale while Payne handed them coffee and hot chocolate for Sky.

Sky took the hot chocolate gratefully, she remember telling Payne about her infatuation for anything chocolate. While she tasted the rich chocolate drink, Sky then said, “Well, I need to know, how… How this relationship will work, I mean, there are three of you and only one of me.”

With a very confident pose, while he sat on the sofa, Soma gave her a smirk and answered her question, “Don’t worry princess, we are good to share, even though we are never in the same room together, but we can learn.”

His answer, of course, coming from Soma, just made her flustered, imagining the three of them in bed with her, doing something that she never experienced before. “So… So you need to do it at the same time?”

“If you prefer so, we could learn it, together.” This time it was Gale who answered, It seemed like he was already determined to have his way to Sky. “I mean, we have our own preference, and as you never experience… Uhm… intimacy before, you can learn your preference with us.”

“Really? You would do that for me?” Impressed by how considerate Gale is, Sky is hopeful that this relationship could work between them.

Payne took the liberty to sit beside Sky, he looked into her, and the memory of his best friend coming back to him, once again. “You know, your father once asked me to be your mate.”

Turning her head to Payne, she tried so hard to believe him, but then she said with a smile, “Oh come on, I was a baby back then, and you’re…”

“A teenager, yes, but it’s the truth, I don’t know why he said it, a joke? A premonition? What I know is that he asking me to protect you in any capable way possible.” Said Payne, as he took her face, smiling at her. “I promise you, we can be an irreplaceable ally and of course good mates, providing you with protection, devotion, and of course privilege.”

Something is missing, Sky almost feels her heart fall to the ground, after hearing Payne describe their relationship in the future. As she wanted something that Payne did not even include in their arrangement, which is love. As an orphan, Sky always tries to search for that kind of fairytale love, looking at someone with admiration and contentment.

With a bittered smile, she closed her eyes, and took a sigh, “At least having the three of you will give me full protection from Alpha Arthur.”

“Alpha Arthur is just one of the many, Miss Sky.” Said Gale to her, everyone went quiet, waiting for more explanation from Gale, as he took his time, with his hands clasped together, “If we were right about you, more Alphas will come and try to claim you.”

“And it will all be the end when the three of you claim me, right?” Asked Sky, trying to make sense of all of this commotion about her.

“Well, yes, when we get into the wedding ritual, which is one year from now.” Answered Payne, while the others went quiet, letting him be the one who answered Sky. “We need to get married in the red moon full cycle.”

“Red Moon? Why? I mean, I remember one of the pack member wedding rituals happened recently before the red moon was in full bloom.”

Payne rustled his hair, as his eyes looked into Gale, begging him to answer. “Gale, please.”

Taking a sigh, Gale took the baton and explained to Sky. “Red moon wedding would be perfect for you because we need to get the best link between the power of the three of us and your power. That’s why, Alpha Arthur was probably desperate to get you, yesterday, to marry you right away.”

Chills came running through her body, and the thought of she could be inside another room with the tyrant Alpha Arthur, rather than with the three of them here, was enough for Sky to shudder, she knows about Alpha Arthur’s reputation, and many fall victim to his brutality. His harem women, even his woman servants.

“I know about him, all of the stories that my friend told me, I am relieved that you came to rescue me.” As Sky looked directly at Payne, she put her hand on his chest, “Thank you, Alpha Payne.” She then turned to look into Gale and Soma. “And to both of you.”

“You’re welcome, princess…” Soma then began to approach her again, this time at least he put a boundary between him and Sky. “So, Princess, you probably wanted to know what kind of… Arrangement that we have if you choose to become our mate.”

“I thought about it.”

Once again, the sly smile of Soma adorned his face, “We will give you our mark, and half of our territory, not to mention a chance to be a Luna, next year after we have done with the wedding ritual.”

Her eyes went wide, as she looked into all three of them, “Wait, that means, I am going to become your… Your legal mate! Not just someone in your harem!”

“Well, Miss Sky, you’re going to obtain a harem, which is the three of us.” Said Alpha Gale, while a hint of amusement goes through his eyes.

Payne was a bit wary after hearing her protesting, “Did you… not like the arrangement? I mean, that’s why we are going to do the wedding ritual in the first place, you will be our mate, and we will be protecting you, while we speak to our pack for the merge… That if you accepted our offer.”

“Merge? So, that’s why you wanted to have me, you need an excuse to merge your pack.”

“No! Well, yes, for half of it, but the other half, because we saw your potential after Payne told us that she found a little lady who got a hidden power.” Gale looked so cautiously at Sky, as the young woman put a weak smile on her face.

Another promise for devotion and wealth, but no word about love. She wonders, how all of these Alphas, on their thirty, don’t even have anyone by their side. Seems love is the rarest word in their vocabulary, as she looked at the three of them once again, she took a deep breath and asked them. “And as for me, what is my duty? What do I need to do?”

“You need to train to become a befitting Luna for three Alphas.” Gale is the one who answered, while he sipped his drink once again, “And of course, becoming our mate, by… take care of the merge pack and also…” He paused and cleared his throat, “Warming our bed.”

Her face once again blushed, “We are going to… Uhm… make love before we are doing the wedding ritual?”

“The wedding ritual only for the sake of your power, when the Moon Goddess light basks us with her red moonlight, we will be sure of your power, and of course, it will be an advantage for the three of us.” Said Payne to her.

She shook her head. “I don’t even have any power, I can’t even transform.”

Suddenly, Payne held her shoulder, and his face went paler, “What? You can’t transform? Tell me you’re joking?”

“No, I can’t, that’s why, I was so confused when the three of you told me that I have some kind of power that I wasn’t even aware of.”

“Because we are sure you have the power, Miss Sky, we Alphas can smell the scent out of you.” Gale looks at her with a frown in his eyes, “That’s why you probably can’t transform, your mother’s blood is thicker inside of you.”

“My mother?”

“Yes, your mother, the former head of the witch coven.” Answered Payne, while he released her shoulder, “Your mother is a witch, Sky, a powerful witch.”
