Laura's POV

I sneaked into his room, making sure no one saw me in broad daylight. I tapped lightly on the door as I entered, and it opened almost immediately.

"There you are," he said, holding the door open, a smile creeping onto his face. My eyes lit up upon seeing him. He had occupied my thoughts all night, and the mental image I had of him didn't do justice to the real thing.

He was breathtaking. The rays of sunshine that streaked into the room brightened his white shirt, making him look almost unreal, like a deity.
