“Did you listen to the song I sent you this morning?” Amara asks as soon as she sat down beside me.

I nod with a bright smile. “Yes, I listened to it while I was brushing my teeth. Rowan wasn’t very happy with me. He was trying to speak to me, but I couldn’t hear him.” I pout.
