CHAPTER 9: BOSS’ PROPERTY

Michael and Elena travel via car, but what Elena wasn’t expecting was that the car was heading towards the direction of the airport. The only thing that Mr. Jackson’s assistant told her was that the meetings that her boss would go to would normally take only a few minutes. The travel was always longer than the actual meeting.

The car turned and drove a bit farther away from the airport and went through a tunnel. She realized that she had never been in that area of the town before, and had always assumed that it was just mountains or lands owned by the government. The scenery from the window showed her that the car stopped in a building that looked like a small hotel, but she saw planes parked near the building as they passed by.

Her boss got out of the car first, and she quietly followed, but she knew her face showed how bewildered she was at the scenario that was happening in front of her. When the forty something lady back in the office told her about the travel time, she was expe
