"But I'm glad that you're finally coming home more often and sitting here. Keeping your old mother company for dinner."

He sighs softly. "Can we go through dinner comfortably tonight, Mom? Can we?"

"I won't start anything that makes you uncomfortable, Son. What I said is the truth." Kate smiles. "I'm truly grateful to enjoy dinner with you again."
