Kate didn't know what to make of her face. She was obviously happy for the woman in front of her now. There was also a sense of sadness because there were many things that Kate had missed with Jane. Not to mention her longing for the woman who was like her own child.

"I'm really surprised, darling," Kate said as she grasped Jane's hand tightly. "You're not busy with your schedule, are you?"

"Not yet." Jane laughed. "From tomorrow I'm back to the reality where I spend most of my time outside."

Kate was lost in Jane's laughter. "But you seem to like what you're doing now. Mommy's right, isn't she?"

"Of course." Jane's face lit up with excitement. "I've never been in a world like this. It's foreign but I'm starting to enjoy it. And I believe that when we give our best when we do something, good things will follow."
