Yeneffer
One after the other, we came out of the flying truck to behold a different world. Every girl had an astonished look on her face. Growing up in the Bluewinter village, we had always heard stories of how grand and mighty the Sunfyre territories were. Colours of red and white, giant buildings and great exhibits. These stories were forbidden rumours, and the alpha would punish the whisperers who carried them because these people were usually spies sent by the Sunfyres to plant disunity among us, to plot our downfall. And now they had succeeded. We were now slaves to the evil Sunfyres. I also heard terrible stories about the slave island. How innocent captive girls are being used to the comfort of the Sunfyre pack members, in every way possible. It was a terrible, traumatic story. As I stepped bare footed on the cold soil, I felt a strange sensation crawling up my skin. As if something was awakened within me. It made me stop in shock. "Keep moving!" A violent push from one of the guards. He followed with a hot lash of his whip, pressing through my skin like hot iron. Along with the other girls, I walked in a straight line as the middle aged woman continued to address us. "My name is Sheara, but each one of you shall call me mistress. In the Slave Island, I am your alpha, I am your luna. I am your goddess. I am the one you answer to." Her voice was cold and dark all at the same time. "I know most of you are angry that you are here right now. You used to be princesses, queens, beautiful maidens, happy servants all the way back home. But this is not your home. Whatever you used to be in your packs, it is over. You are now slaves and there is no escape!" Sheara possessed a tone that inspired terror. The girl in front of me was all shaky, vibrating with every step she took. I recognised her from the bluewinter village. She was the hand maiden to the alpha's daughter and her best friend. Her name was Lily, and she was a very shy one. Lily was just a couple years older than my sister, this place was not the right place for her to be. Or for anyone else. "Don't worry. We'll be fine." I held my hand to hers from behind, just so that the guards would not notice but enough to calm her down. Then suddenly we heard a loud bang come from the front of the lines. The moving line paused. Everyone raised their gazes, alarmed. One of the girls in front was holding her face in pain as she knelt down slowly, courtesy of a slap. "It's Rachel..." Lily whispered shakily as the guards gathered to strike the girl continuously. I recognized Rachel from the pack. The one who stood over Rachel was a strikingly attractive young lady whose face I had never seen before. It was a face so uniquely endowed. She had dark violet hair and her face held a perfect beauty, irresistible. A group of servants stood behind her submissively. A little cat with violet fur crawled around her feet and between her legs. In her violet eyes was deep hate that I could feel from afar as her stares landed back on me. "Anyone else wants to ask questions?" The lady looked at us all, hoping to make another example. None of us dared to speak. This girl looked just the same age as I. Yet she could command an atmosphere of terror among us. She strolled slowly down our lines, peering each person in the eyes. None of the girls wanted their eyes to meet with hers. They all lowered their gazes. Not me. I would not lower my gaze because of her. Never! I decided I would stare back at her the same way she stared at us. She was only two girls from me now and my plan hadn't changed. Then as she came really close, the cat jumped suddenly at Lily's shaky legs. In horror, the frightened girl threw her legs against the creature defensively. Out erupted a loud gasp of shock from the servants of the mean girl. "She's so dead..." I heard one say. The cat yelled out in pain and ran back at its mistress, cuddling against her legs as if to report Lily. The girl walked closer, her eyes full of terrible rage. "You..." She muttered, ice and fire. "I'm sorry, but I have an aversion to cats..." Lily quickly explained, her lips trembling. "Ohh right? You are about to have an aversion to life!" She raised her hands in the air, ready to strike. But she stopped mid-air, seeing that I had stepped between them. "It is true. I know her very well. She truly has a fear for cats. Please forgive her, it will not happen again." I pleaded on her behalf, hoping it would quell the anger of the violet haired lady. It only worsened. "And how dare you to stop me?" She scoffed in disgust. "Who the fuck are you, slave?" Before I could form a word, my tongue was left flying within my cheek as her heavy slap landed on my face. It was so painful that staying on my feet took so much effort. How could a girl's attack be this painful? "Move!" She commanded, eyes gorging with evil rage. But I was not used to following orders unless it came from my alpha. "I can't." I muttered intentionally. Maybe if I pissed her off, she would forget about Lily. "You bitch! Deal with her!" She ordered her guards and immediately they stormed forward towards me. Huge blows and painful kicks. They swept my feet off the ground as they continued, I only heard a few whispers among the other girls, terrified now. "You dare to stand in my way, you bitch! You are going to suffer!" The assault continued for a while, until a faint voice called it to a halt. I could barely keep my eyes open to see that Sheara had walked towards us. "Lysandra, I have to speak to you." She said. The violet haired lady shrugged. "No mom, I am busy. I need to teach this lowlife a lesson of her life. She is just a slave, how dare she defy me?" Sheara put an arm on her daughter's shoulder, turning her to face her. "You have enough time to continue the torture of this stupid bitch, my dear. But right now you have more important things to focus on. You will be our future Luna, you have to complete your training, not waste your time on these set of misfits." Lysandra suddenly wore a smile. It seemed she really enjoyed the idea of being Luna. She threw a ghastly look at me on the floor as I bled in pain. She bent towards me, muttering such that only I could hear. "This is just the beginning, bitch. By the time I am done with you, you will crawl at my feet and beg for mercy. I will make you suffer. I will make you my personal dog and you will be eager to obey every single word I say. Just wait and see." As she walked away, followed by her devious cat the cause of all this, I was helped on to my feet by Lily who sobbed silently for me. "This is my fault. I'm sorry..." She cried. "Don't worry. I was always going to get into trouble." I forced a smile. Sheara's voice ransacked the atmosphere again. "Now girls, follow me!" She took us into our parts of the Slave Island, ready to start a new life of torment. The first step I took, my legs stopped functioning and I fell to the ground, losing awareness. The strange sensation had become stronger. "Yeneffer! Are you alright?" The last words I heard before losing consciousness.Yeneffer"Mom... I promise I'll find her... I'll find Diana..."I opened my eyes slowly, tired from a dream. The scent of burning tinder welcomed me back to life.I could feel my back against dry leaves, I was sleeping on a mat made from plants. My head seemed heavy as I tried to look around, searching for my mother. She was standing by me just now, telling me to find my sister. Then I remembered it was just a dream. My mother died seven years ago when she went in search of Vermin who disappeared after the Sunfyres attacked us. We had defeated them and had won the battle but Vermin was nowhere to be found. So mother decided to go look for him. She never came back. When we found her, she was dead, attacked by a Sunfyre. Vermin finally showed up but I wouldn't even take a look at him. I hated him at that moment. Then he disappeared too, and I never saw him again."Where... Where am I?" I stared around the room. VerminWe had searched for three days, following the scent and the trails that Adrian Bianco left behind. Each time we thought we were close, he would only manage to vanish again. That man knew well how not to be found. But no matter how much his determination to evade, I still had to find him nonetheless. It was a command from father and I had to show him how worthy I was of being his heir."Are you sure we should be here?" Darius was a little uneasy when we landed secretly on the slave island. Nobody knew we would come here at all, in fact everyone thought we were deep into the human city, searching for Adrian Bianco."Don't worry, Darius. Nobody will find out. We'll just complete our objective and disappear like we never appeared to begin with"."Why would you even think he would have the mind to come here?" Darius shook his head doubtedly. "We, the Sunfyre pack control everything north, south, east or west of this island. He would be a fool to ever come here."Darius was not wrong
Yeneffer When I watched those two kiss so passionately in front of me, my blood began to boil for some reason. I despised Vermin so much after everything he had done, I didn't care if he was dating this sly bitch with a wicked heart, yet I felt a terrible pain in my heart. No Yeneffer, you shouldn't be feeling this way, I told myself. But it only grew worse. I couldn't help it. I gazed at them with all the hate in my heart, all the hurt in my eyes. He noticed, but he didn't care."But why are you here? You didn't say you were coming." Lysandra Marble was leaning on Vermin, her arms around his neck flirtingly."One of the bluewinters survived." Vermin shifted his gaze at me. "Adrian Bianco."My eyes widened in shock. My father was alive afterall? Of course he was! It would take more than a few Sunfyres to defeat Adrian Bianco. I didn't know when my shock became a smile and my smile became a giggle."Are you laughing? At us?" Lysandra noticed, much to my dismay. But I didn't care. My l
The door opened. Two figures entered the room, holding their laundry baskets."Yeneffer! You are back! I was so worried!"Lily quickly placed her burdens by the way and came to inspect me. "How are you feeling, big sister? Hope she didn't hurt you?" She called me big sister, reminding me of Diana. It has been several days since I last saw my sister.I managed a smile that said I was fine. Yet I still felt the uneasiness of the unknown. I stared again into the dark but the dark stood still, devoid of characters. Was I seeing things before? Or did they vanish in fear of my company?"What did Mistress Lysandra want?" Lily saw me to the mat and sat by my side. Her companion was Eliora, but she did not say a word. She went about her business, arranging things."Nothing. She only warned me." I assured, not knowing how to tell sweet innocent Lily that Lysandra was going to kill her if I didn't stay obedient."Did she warn you to stay away from her boyfriend?" Eliora was not staring in our di

Eliora did not respond, she did not even spare me a look as she walked to the only window in the room, checking for something."I said who was out there?""No one." She breathed reluctantly as she walked past me again. She went to observe Lily where she lay fast asleep. "Do not wake her.""But outside...""Forget what you saw out there." She had now confirmed that Lily was sleeping. "Tomorrow, we can take the abandoned flying truck and get the hell out of here."What? I was stunned, not knowing what to say."Do you not want to escape again? I see you have the spirit. Have you suddenly lost it?""But you said...""Forget what I said. I have been planning this for sometime now but I couldn't trust anyone. I think you have what it takes. Besides, I can't be successful all on my own."Words could not express my joy. By the time the dust settled, the safe house had become one with it.Then he faced me again."Take your sister. Go as far away from here as possible. Do not look back! Do not stop!"As he pushed us away, his naked body shifted quickly into his mega sized wolf form. "Go!!!" The last word he uttered as human. It continued into a long growl as he turned around in fury, ready to tear the limbs of the ones after our lives.I took Diana's hands by the wrist and we both made a run for it.
