Alexander’s Pov
“Your highness , I am a soldier” he states.
“Then why are you here?” I ask.
“ I have a bond with these horses sire – I do not mean to boast , but I doubt any other man will be able to care for these horses the way I would” he states firmly.
“I agre –“ I do not complete what I say as something catches my attention. A yellow flower sits lodged in one of his overall’s strap – the same yellow flower that my Rosemary had picked up earlier. I instantly grab him by the collar , my heated angry breath fans his face.
“Why the fuck do you have her flower?!” I scream at him. I see Rosemary standing up besides me – they both share a glance at each other , which enrages me even more.
“Woman , why does he have the flower that you picked up?!” I scream at her now – I demand to know the meaning of all of this.
