Chapter 914

Kirk glanced up at Sean in return.

Sean also realized how ridiculous his question was. "Yeah."

"Did he ask you to convince Monty to sell his land?"

"How do you even know about that?"

Sean knew that his friend was resourceful, but it turned out that Kirk even knew about his conversation with Solomon. It made him wonder if Kirk had placed a monitoring device in Solomon's home.

"Finn wants that land."

When he said this, Sean immediately understood why Kirk knew so much about what had happened that day. "But Solomon said the president wanted it—"

He suddenly cut his words short, and he felt goosebumps on his arms.

"In other words, the president doesn't want this land. He's trying to use me to get that land by using the president as an excuse.

"But there are many people who are close to Mr. Sterling. So, why would he ask me of all people to help?"

Kirk glanced at Sean again. "Remember. You're on my side."

Sean had an epiphany. "That means he sought me out for help on purpose.
