Daphne waved her hands, her face filled with fear. When Caroline saw Daphne's reaction, she thought she was acting this scared because they had exposed her plan.

Little did she know that Daphne was afraid because Kirk was Caroline's husband!

Just as Daphne was about to collapse from fear, Charles ran backstage, panting. "Sir."

He noticed the complicated situation and said cautiously, "I've caught Dolly."

Kirk glanced at Charles and dragged Daphne to him. "Take her away. Eddy's second uncle said he would deal with her!"

When Charles heard that, he immediately understood that Kirk had gotten out of his predicament. His true identity hadn't been revealed.

Charles couldn't afford to waste any time. He hurriedly dragged Daphne away. Daphne didn't return to her senses until she was thrown into the car.
