Sonia glanced at Kirk's phone's screen. His wallpaper was Caroline.

She couldn't help but sigh. So this was what it meant when people said that it was impossible to hide it when you love someone. Every little detail of what you do would reflect your love for the person.

"Why are you staring at your phone all the time? Is something wrong?"

Kirk straightened his back and told her, "It's been almost an hour."

"So?"

"She would usually be back by now."

Sonia followed his gaze to look at the room's door and abruptly understood what he meant by that. She laughed. "You're too clingy! Caroline's only gone for an hour."

Kirk then stared at her coolly. She lowered her eyes to stare at her phone in an attempt to avoid his gaze. She cleared her throat and said, "It's been quite a while. Let me call her for you."

Kirk pursed his lips and said nothing, but from the vague smile on his lips, Sonia knew that he was in a better mood now.

He was truly a pretentious fellow. He wanted to know
