Sean could feel a migraine forming the moment he saw Mia. He couldn't have cared less if it hadn't been for the fact that she was just 18 years old and unfamiliar with this place. This was her first time traveling abroad, too.

He heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that Gwen's expression was her usual one. Standing behind her, he wrapped a hand around her waist and said, "Morning."

Gwen stiffened and glanced at his hand around her hip. The corners of her lips tilted up into a smile.

Mia noticed this and understood what it implied. But she chose to pretend as if she didn't see it and simply smile at Gwen. "Gwen, do you know how to skate?"

"Yes, why?"

"I'm not good at skating," Mia muttered.

"Can you teach me?" She had always asked Sean for help, but this time, she decided to ask Gwen instead.

Gwen's instincts told her that Mia was scheming something. "I don't—"

"If you're not free, can you let Sean teach me?" Mia stared at Gwen with puppy-dog eyes, rendering her speechless
