Evans Group was a small company with a total of six shareholders. The company itself was the largest shareholder, but because a member of the Evans family was running for the position, Dan, the previous CEO, had no say in the situation.

Only the five other shareholders could make the final decision. And among these five people, two were on Eddy's side. In other words, they were definitely on Layla's side.

"Carol, I'll go wedding dress shopping with you later."

"Don't you have work?" Caroline asked.

"I have a two-hour break at noon. So, we can go over and have a look."

"All right."

Caroline had no hopes for the store Cook had introduced, but she still said, "I'll call you when I get off work at noon."
