Chapter 202

Sean was stunned. He found it hard to believe just what was going on in Mia's mind. He was so dumbfounded that he forgot to free his arm from hers.

"Mia, are you sure about this?'

Mia shushed him and took a few steps closer to him. "She's looking at you."

A smile made its way onto Sean's face. "Really?" he asked, pleasantly surprised.

"Yep."

"Then how does she look? Is she upset?"

"She doesn't look happy, alright."

"So, it worked then?"

"I think so," said Mia as she looked right into his eyes with a dazzling smile.

Caroline's brows were knit tightly together as she watched Mia and Sean from afar. She cocked her head to one side to see Gwen walking into the distance.

Then, she turned to Kirk, who was beside her. "What's Sean doing?"

Kirk had been enjoying spending time with Caroline by his side. He was holding hands with her as they walked side by side, much to his delight.

Hearing her mention another man's name—his good friend's name, at that—made him very displea
