Chapter 197

Gwen wanted to flee, but she knew that she'd give herself away by doing so. With a reluctant heart, she walked behind Caroline. Lowering her voice, she asked, "Why is he here?"

A soft smile hung on Caroline's face. She pursed her lips and said, "He's kind of pitiful since he doesn't have many friends here in the country."
