"Mr. Hackett," Caroline greeted him. There was no immediate response. But after a prolonged silence, Asher said, "Ms. Evans, I was wrong. I hope you can forgive me."

She looked at Cheryl in confusion. The call was on speaker, so Cheryl could hear the conversation too.

As she listened, Cheryl understood that the Hacketts had come to the realization that opposing Caroline wouldn't end well, so they had decided to seek forgiveness.

These people definitely still feared the CEO of SY Group. "Mr. Hackett, why do I find your words hard to understand?"

"M-Ms. Evans," Asher stammered, finding it difficult to express himself. He sighed before continuing, "From now on, Evans Group can use the Hacketts' ports to transport their goods.

"Ms. Evans, I apologize for the previous misunderstandings. We'll apologize sincerely when Cheryl returns." With that, Asher hung up.
