"No, no, no." Cheryl shook her finger gently. She said, "I mainly wanted to invite you here."

"Me?" Aurora didn't understand her words. "Why would you do that?"

"If I didn't, I wouldn't have the chance to relish your disappointment."

"Why would I be disappointed?" Aurora was increasingly bewildered.

"Because you're going to find out that your wedding is canceled!"

Aurora was shocked. "What did you say?"

Then, she laughed. "No way. My wedding with Asher is tomorrow. Cheryl, don't try to scare me.

"Do you really think I'll believe you? Who do you think you are? What makes you think you can meddle in my wedding?"

"The fact that I'm the daughter who had been taken away from the Hacketts!" Cheryl said word by word, every syllable sending shockwaves through Aurora's heart.

"H-How do you know that?"

"You don't have to worry about that."

Cheryl turned around and walked toward the private room. "I'm sure they'll tell you the good news after lunch."
