Golden scroll

Daisy, Albert and Joe wang watch in horror, what's going on? They all had the same question on the mind but still they know all know they can't move to her, a blue light slowly fill the room.

  "The energy is stronger this time" Joe wang said in panic "May Zhiang warned us about this"

 "And she did tell us not to do anything,He's almost here, we can't stop him"Daisy piped in breathing hard.

 " But she could get hurt, he trained may zhiang so I know"Albert shake his head and pat Joe wang shoulder.

  " She's having a vision, and probably a dangerous one" Albert words made them both nod.

  Amidst all the commotion, hope found herself in front of a wall her hand caressing it to get through it, it slowly opens revealing a large golden scroll in front of an altar, curious hope pick it and roll it down on it was a large word, written in ink.

 "Only one color, but not one size"

 "Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies"

  Hope look up in confusion, she glance back at the scroll to read the remaining word but found it black, Suddenly she felt something pulling her backward, hope in shock try to grab onto the scroll.

  But the force was too strong, she found herself giving in and slowly open her eyes, sigh of relief left the three who are in the room.

  "I saw something.." she mutter to daisy "I told you about the nightmares right?" She lift her head. 

  The three nod " Now I'm sure someone is stopping me from seeing what's fully written on the scroll"the three duo gulp,if someone is stopping her then it means someone already knows about the chosen one.

 "What do you mean someone is stopping you hope?,it might be something else"Joe wang manage to put out a word despite of his ravage pumping heart.

  "I saw it again,same thing same words 'Only one color but not one size, stuck at the bottom,yet easily flies"

 The three exchange glances 'The same word?'

  "One color,I don't understand Owen what does this mean?is my baby okay?"May zhiang ask in a shaky voice.

  "Yes my love the baby is gonna be fine, nothing is gonna happen to her,Donny what does this mean?"Owen ask the female witch, standing up from the circle.

  " It's not for you to understand, it's for the chosen one Owen,the baby this child as a mark on her except for the mark of the protector"Donny also stand up.

  " What's it?"Albert utter.

  Daisy fiddle with her finger,just like the the words weren't complete they'd thought it was nothing but still knew a powerful force was stopping them and now hope words proved it right... there is a stronger person stopping them.

 "Why are you guys staring at me weirdly?I swear I saw the scroll again and the words are the same ,it felt like i was getting sucked into a vacuum"daisy squeeze her hand.

 " We all believe you,we all do"hope kiss her hand.

  "so what does it all mean?Dad any ideas?" hope queried.

 "You dreamt about an old man showing you the scroll and three days you got to touch the scroll and see the words in it"

 " Yes but dad I'm not sure they're the same scroll,today it felt like I needed to save myself from something,fear,weakness were all overpowering,I felt nostalgic like the thing is a key to something In the past or future"She said.

 " it's definitely your future and we've to figure it out"The quite Joe wang suddenly spoke.

 " I didn't get to read the whole word,I think it's a riddle of some sort but we can't solve it without the complete words,this is so frustrating"Hope sigh deeply.

 " Uhm..how about you start packing?"daisy stood up and put both hands on the tables "For the college trip"

 "Really mom?!!" Hope jump neglecting her food " Thank you" she throw a kiss.

 "Go now"daisy laugh, Hope hurried out "She needs it for distraction" Joe wang took a sip of his wine. " I think it's time to summon the old man, he's the only one we can trust after Donny's death"

  "Okay but right now, I've got to help my girl pack"Albert step away from the dinning table.

 "Me too"Joe wang drop the wine and followed Albert,daisy stare in daze at the place hope was just sitting,the same fear emerging again.

  In a big furnished luxurious room a young handsome man with black hair dropping on his forehead, perfect shaped jaw,and broad shoulder sit on the bed in his white hoodie and jogger pant,his father in a grey suit beside him.

  "Dad why do you think I'm not trying enough?I can't sleep it's like the illness is worsening"He scowl at his dad.

 " Liu Yong, what're you dreaming about that's all I want to know"His face said curtly.

  "Dad not Yong, it's Stuart I love the name my mom calls me"Stuart snort,Liu zhixin smile at his son.

 "Liu Yong,You say you're having some strange dreams"he ignore Stuart irritation.

  " Dad the insomnia thing is not helping,I feel terrible,I sleep for just 3hrs and a stupid nightmare wakes me up,it's not some, it's huge"Stuart snap " Just last night I thought it was getting better but a dream about a fucking scroll woke me up"

 Liu zhixin urge his son to continue,staring attentively "it's gold and when I opened it I felt someone was there,no I'm sure someone was there,and the surprising thing was that when I started reading the next words became blank,the third and the fourth line dad"

  " What was written on it son?"Stuart cock his head thinking deeply about what he saw,his eyes slowly grew and his lips stretch.

  "I remember 'It's present in sun,but not in rain

       'Doing no harm and feeling no pain'That is it Dad crazy words I tell you"

 Liu zhixin phone rang,he stood up excusing himself to take the call.

  "Have you reached the house?" He said 

  "President,we did but ....we can't find the girl it's like she vanished into thin air"Sheng Xiao his assistant reply.

  " How?"

  " We locked her in the booth and then when we checked she was gone and shockingly the rope we used to tie her was there infact still knotted"

  " I told you to take care of her not lock her in a booth, I'll be in the office soon,and that doesn't mean you stop looking for her find her"Liu Zhixin end the call,heaving heavily.

  " Dad what girl?"Liu zhixin froze "Dad"Stuart grip on his father arm forcing him to face him. " What girl?"he asked again.

  "It's my business Stuart, prepare your...."

 "Please tell me,are you trying to get me married?"Stuart scoff at his own words.

 " Stop the dramatic speech you're only seventeen,I care about you"Lui zhixin place his hand in a fatherly manner on Stuart shoulder "You heard what that crazy woman said,this is all connected to a girl"

  "The chosen one"Stuart fake a swanning smile " F**k those are made up words,what magic?what girl? I live here with you and who knows where the girl is,maybe Taiwan or hell, it's hell"

  " I live According to the present spare me and it's high time you let that mad woman go"Stuart stomp back to his bed, increasing the volume of the TV leaving his dad standing in daze.

  "Liu Yong,whether you believe this or not magic exist" Stuart drop his head on the pillow.

  "You know what,I'm gonna go prepare..." He groan as he stand up "for the trip the maids already packed my bags and my friends will be here soon"Stuart made a step, Liu zhixin Stop him.

  "Don't you trust your dad, I'm worried about everything that's going on and you're going far away from us,I need to be rest assured that you're going to be okay"

 " Tsk, we're rich, we've men,I've guards far and wide,my elder brother is a general,if that isn't an assured safe life then what is it?and it's not far away"he stop to take a breather "We're just going to another college to participate in the football..."

 "This powers are unseen"Stuart nod,his mood waning off "Anyway talk to your mother before leaving" Liu Zhixin pat Stuart back and walk out.

  Stuart clench his fist his gaze Still on his dad back, he'd lied,he drop his gaze sitting on the bed.. He'd lied to his father about the dream ,what he said was just the least important thing he was unconcerned about.

  He'd insomnia and instead of his parents calling him crazy for his weird dreams from childhood they claimed it's something else... Visions,the Mad woman they'd brought to live with them just keep telling them crazy things that sometimes he feels like sending her to the asylum.

 For his own sanity he want to stop the story about the magic in his house and to stop it was to lie about not having nightmares,but his dad persistent still let him say somethings he knows would just convince them that a magic fairy do exist.

  This time he'd got a glimpse of who was really troubling him,the person was beside him opening a scroll, different from his but same color,it was a girl with extremely long shinning black hair she was in a blue gown.

 He couldn't see her face but he felt he knew her,which is strange because he as never met any woman with such long hair.

 "Pfft,how can I know her?and who the heck is she?Why is she troubling me?"He lament loudly.

 "You didn't tell me I'm no longer needed,got a new girlfriend huh?"The voice a girl brought smiles to his face as his eyes held hers.
