Chapter 0011

Livvy's POV

"Is that the wolf Liv?"

My eyes shot back over to Jacob at the sound of my real name, panic coursing through me.

"You can't call me that, Ellie, remember to call me Ellie, Jacob, please."

"Shit, sorry El. But is it?"

"He said he had a flat tire, I saw it was definitely flat, I guess he changed it, but why is he here?"

"Don't worry, I got you, I promise I won't let him hurt you or take you out of here, let's get inside, I'll cover you as best I can and we need to get to the back bar to talk to Andy, right away."

Jacob got out of the car, luckily because he's a vampire, he has the darkest tint you can get on his car so I know that whoever was in that car has yet to see that I am in this one.

Holding up a big black umbrella, Jacob came around to my side of the car, blocking me from anyone's possible prying eyes as he wrapped an arm over my shoulder as I let my hair fall in my face, following his lead through the parking lot into the back door of the building.

When we arrived inside, the music was loud, but not overwhelming like out in the main room, you didn't have to yell back here to speak to anyone. Walking through the locker room, I put my purse away before going out to see Andy behind the bar, he smiled as he waved me over.

Luckily it was pretty slow tonight, most likely due to the weather, but at least now I have a chance to speak to him about what has been going on.

Walking to the bar I watched as Jacob made his way over there first. I listened to them after watching them for a minute, mainly when I saw Andy's expression change as Jacob spoke.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I just, I didn't know how to say it."

"Didn't know how to tell me that your FATHER found us months ago! Months! Not just days but literally he could have done whatever he wanted to do to us for months and you hid this from me.

I just don't understand what you could possibly be thinking."

"I knew you were happy here, we finally made this place a home after running for so long. I didn't want to uproot us all over again, I just wanted us to stay happy for a change."

Andy sighed as he grabbed Jacob's hands over the bar, his thumb brushing the back of Jacob's hand before he looked up at him. I actually felt a bit bad about eavesdropping but I couldn't help myself.

"I understand that, but you should not have kept this from me, we are supposed to be in this together, forever, secrets aren't something that we can afford to have between us.

How's Ellie, he didn't see her right? I don't want her to be in any trouble."

That's when I finished walking over to them, a small smile on my face as I walked behind the bar as Jacob spoke.

"She has some things she needs to tell you as well, like maybe her real name?"

His eyes landed on me but I shook my head, not here, I can't here, not when I was pretty sure that Byron would be coming into here any time now, I can't risk it.

"Later, okay. I promise I will tell you everything."

Andy looked between Jacob and myself before he agreed as Jacob let him know that they will be staying at my place for the foreseeable future. He was definitely sceptical considering the size, but agreed knowing it was probably best to stay with me.

It's amazing how fast things can change, yet how long it took for them to be found, or for a werewolf to step foot within this town.

The bar being on the outskirts of town, we get people here from different small towns, including a city not far away. This place is always pretty busy and I make great tips working the bar, but tonight I was lost.

Every time I watched someone walk in or up to the bar, I was just waiting for it to be Byron, or Timothy himself when the scent hit me. Byron walked back from the main room and was making his way towards the bar where Andy and I were making drinks.
