We all make mistakes, we all make choices that at the moment we think it’s the right thing but after some time has passed we come to realize that we were wrong and that we’ve fucked up.

For Rain, her greatest mistake was acting alright when her parents died, allowing everyone to call her the strong one and let it define her, not letting herself mourn when it was obviously what her mind and body wanted.

When she started having those nosebleeds and dizzy spells, she kept quiet about it because Nicholas needed the attention more, he seemed to be even more broken by their parents’ death than her.

There were whispers she’d heard, that she wasn’t their actual daughter which was why she showed no emotion…which was why she was strong enough to help her brother through his grief.
