Chapter 6 The Truth

"Tell me your mine!" he whispered in my ear,

"I am yours, forever!" I declared. He fucked me three more times that night and I still wanted more, "My little vixen loves pain." he grinned, licking my neck where he had bitten me, I wanted him to do it again.

I woke up and saw that he had carried me to his bedchambers after I had fallen asleep, and had all my things brought here too. My belongings were neatly placed in their designated spaces, now a part of our shared sanctuary. But something tugged at me, I had almost forgotten about my bag of things, that I had gathered from my village, which was still hidden in the deep brush. But amidst the sense of belonging, a nagging feeling persisted - I had left my precious bag of village treasures behind. I had to retrieve them! I had to go get them now! I ran to the throne room to tell him that I needed to go, to request Rryan's permission. But as I reached the door, the fierceness of their voices halted me in my tracks. I heard yelling - Rryan and an unknown man were engaged in a heated argument. I stood there frozen, listening intently, as I tried to make sense of the intense exchange unfolding just behind the walls.

"What the fuck were you thinking?" The other man yelled.

"I am the King, I will do as I please!" Rryan yelled back slamming his fist against the arm of his throne, the sound carried throughout the kingdom.

I gasped, and my hand flew to my mouth. I thought, who was so bold to yell at the king like that? Lydia quickly grabbed my hand and pulled me away, come child, before they find you here!

"W-Whats going on?" I asked being pulled back to my room which was now empty. She looked around... "Where are your things?" she asked, her hand grasping my shoulders hard, staring into my eyes.

I took her hand and led her to the King's bedchambers and showed her that he had moved me into his room. She wandered as she walked around the room, thinking.

"What's wrong?" I asked again, this time very concerned, "Who was that man that was arguing with Rryan? I asked.

"His Father!" she said, pacing.

My mouth flew open, and my eyes grew wide. Now I understood his boldness with the King.

"Does she even know who she is?" he yelled.

"She knows enough!" Rryan yelled back. "It is Done! I have mated with her and she bares my mark!" then he spoke softer, "My bloodline will remain pure, just as yours did all those years ago, is it not the same as what you, did with her mother. Was she not also your ... " he cleared his throat.. "Mate too?"  She is the only one I will even want or need." with that, his father grew silent.

"Does she know?" he whispered.

"Not everything, I will tell her what she needs to know when the time is right." he turned his back and walked away.

"It is done!" Kayla whispered as she watched from afar.. He has claimed and mated with her. As I saw in my vision, she will soon bear his child, which will change everything.

I stood in the bathroom looking in the mirror, Lydia walked up behind me, smiling. "What is this?" I asked watching a blue symbol glowing on my neck pulsating like my heartbeat.

"You bear the mark of the King child, he has claimed you as his mate," she smiled at me proudly. "He told me that you showed him what I taught you, he was well pleased."

I blushed remembering him devouring me, and me begging him for more.

"What does this mean?" still staring at the pulsating symbol, in awe.

"It means that it's time you know who you really are," she retrieved the Book that Rryan had tucked away high on the top shelf.

I read carefully all the words.. My mother's name, in the King's, book about his life. I couldn't breathe, couldn't think. Lady Maya, my mother, was described as the King's one and only true love, his eternal companion, his heart's desire, his Mate. Their bond was unbreakable, a flame that burned bright and true, even in the face of death itself. I couldn't believe what I was reading. My mother, the King's only love? It couldn't be true. And yet, the words on the page seemed to etch themselves into my brain, refusing to be denied. I felt a presence behind me and turned to see Rryan standing in the doorway, a look of concern etched on his face. "Syla, what's wrong?" he asked, rushing to my side. I couldn't speak, couldn't form words. All I could do was point to the book, to the page that had undone my world. Rryan's eyes followed mine, and he nodded as if she had known all along. "It's true," he whispered. "Your mother was his everything."

His lips brushed against my skin. His scent was intoxicating, a heady mix of wine and deep desire. I couldn't think straight, couldn't resist the pull of his scent, my arms encircled his neck as I lifted myself wrapping my legs around him, he carried me to our bed.

"Tell me, little one," he whispered, his fingers tracing the curve of my neck where he marked me. "What did you learn from the book?"

I swallowed hard, trying to find my voice. "I...I learned about your father," I stammered. "King Danyel Niklaus Delacroix."

His eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "And what did you learn about him?" he asked, his voice low and curious. Watching me carefully.

I hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. But something in his eyes told me that I could trust him, so I spoke the truth. "I learned that he loved my mother," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

The King's expression softened, his eyes filling with a deep emotion. "Yes," he whispered. "My father's love for your mother is legendary." he smiled.

"But what you don't know is she was pregnant with you when they first met, William was your father, but he was not her mate." He waited for that to sink in.

I just stared at him wanting to know more.

He spoke as he pulled me tight to him. "Your Mother was mated to my father, but she never took the throne." instead she went to live with William, but still came to my father's bed, where he fed on her sexually like we do. She was considered a Royal feeder, and the only one my father would feed on." he said.

"But why didn't my mother stay with your father if they were mates?" I was very confused.

"Because she wanted you to grow up knowing your father, they lived separately her with your father and my father with her when she would come daily for his feedings, she remained his mate until she died."

I looked up at him with worried eyes, "Does he want to see me?"

"Yes, that's why he came."

There was a long silence my gaze never left his. "What happens now? with us?" I asked scared to hear the answer.

"What do you want to happen?" He held me tight whispering into my ear.

"I want nothing to change! I want to be yours forever!" I looked deep into his eyes, my love for him unwavering.

"Then that is how it shall be." he smiled at me and kissed my lips passionately. We were bound in so many ways, I was born bound to him, and now I bear his mark as his Mate. "he told me that My mother betrothed me to him at my birth, this was their way, as Royals." I smiled at him. .

"I love you, Syla, I always have, I searched for you after she died. But I couldn't find you." he growled, "I thought that I had lost you forever, and now that I have you again, you are all I will ever need." He carried me to our bed, the sound of the material being torn was music to my ears. "I love you too," I whispered into his ear.
