Chapter 24 Sunrise and Visions

I watched my twin sister rush into the door, like a teenager she ran up to us telling us the news, "Sam has found his mate!" she was so excited. I held her tight watching Raven smile. "Is that why he hung up the phone so fast" she nodded yes! "He's with her now!"

Raven took out a special bottle of wine and we waited for Sam to walk in telling us how it went. He finally walked in the door with a smile that lit up the room, all eyes were on him. "Her name is Sophia, she is a teacher at the school, and she is my mate!" he could not stop smiling, we all toasted him with the finest blood-laced wine.

"We have a date for tomorrow night."

We talked for hours then Sam drove us all to the shore where we watched our first sunrise, my life had changed from loneliness to to a life filled with love and happiness.

Sunrise painted the sky, as the horizon ignited, we stood transfixed, our eyes witnessing the impossible for our kind.
