Wolf IV

Third Person’s POV

The sound of drawing swords echoed in the small clearing, and a tense air immediately shrouded the area. Raval was the first to check the commotion, and Ken hurriedly jumped up from his laying position as he trotted behind Raval to see what’s going on.

Stein, Yuan and Vern followed the two as they looked at each other with the same confusion marring their pupils. Judging by the loud questioning of one of the guards, there is someone else, a stranger among them, but how could they have not found out about such a thing?

As the first to arrive in the circle of guards that are standing rigidly with their swords pointed at the center, Ken and Raval took a few seconds to move at the front to see a pale-faced young man kneeling at the ground while holding his bleeding left arm.

A sense of familiarity appeared on Ken’s face as he looked at the face of the young man on the ground. Why did he feel like he had seen this person before?
