Moon View II
Third Person’s POV
Inside the solemn hall of the main temple of Moon view, Lore stiffly stood in front of four elders that are seated in the four corners of the hall. These elders are the former caretakers, former clan leader and the current clan leader of the Light clan. They are all the highly respected individuals of the Light clan that holds the power of the clan itself, and such power does not only mean the power of the temple.
After all, with the Light clan’s thousand years of history and progress, they have accumulated loyal followers due to the gratitude that they got for healing those in need that traversed and crossed the dangerous wild lands just to arrive at the doorstep of the Moon view temple.
And in this current generation of the Light clan, there are exactly three healers, as aside from the two former caretakers, Lore is the youngest and the hope of the Light clan to hold up the Moon view temple for the future deca
Fressia KingdomThird Person’s POVThe afternoon training session of the city lord mansion’s guards passed quickly and those of the lower rank dispersed to their resting places at the sight of sunset. Captain Ross twisted his waist to shake off the feeling of numbness from the continuous sparring matches with his subordinates. He is only in his mid-twenties, but Captain Ross feels like his bones are giving up on him due to the harshness of their training sessions. “It will be shameful if I could not last longer than this in an actual battle.” A sigh of giving in to the ruthless Spartan style of their lord slipped past his lips as he remembered that they have a new mission to fulfill later. It has been two years since Rebelliad settled down with Samel Karsan’s rule as the city lord, and even the chaotic city of Rogues welcomed peace as the unbridled beatings of innocent citizens lessened along with the dropping rates of the cr
Fressia Kingdom IIThird Person’s POVThe twilight shining down on the pure white land of the Fressia Kingdom appears hazy in General Markus’ eyes as he looked down the opened window with an empty mind that could not come up with any reason for the sudden ailment of his obviously very healthy body at its prime. The reality of being born in Selestine without a mated pair has long been tucked away in some corner of General Markus’ heart. It is a topic that he had never dared to touch after the continuous rounds of disappointments in the years that followed after he reached his adulthood. He had never felt the pull of his wolf in the past fourteen years, and the daydreams of feeling the screams of his soul to urgently find his other half only stayed in the fields of his imagination.Gentle knocks sounded from the door of his chamber as General Markus’s empty eyes slowly glittered with life and focus. “What’s wrong?&
InjuredThird Person’s POVChirps of insects filled Asha’s ears as she leaned against the hard wall of the small cave that she is nesting in. Her brows furrowed from the soreness filling her limbs as she tried to slowly massage her legs with her dirtied hands. Travelling for a month inside a forest without any prepared clothing and food could only be called as suicide, and Asha could only count on some luck to find a water source and some wild fruits to stave off her thirst and hunger. In the past month, Asha encountered a lot of wild animals, but luckily, they are mostly small wild ones that could be dealt with easily by her small experience in close combat along with her special ability. Such encounters caused her to be bruised with purple and red on her pale white skin that further made her look pitiful that even Soran would not be able to recognize her even if she was in front of him.All of the painful points on her body seem to have converged to a dull and
Injured IIThird Person’s POVAsha’s mind went blank from the overwhelming pressure and fear as her body instinctively moved the way that she had envisioned her escape. Her subconscious is screaming with warnings as she felt the creeping chill at her back that is followed by the huge tremor of a giant beast running wildly after her wake. Asha bit the tip of her tongue to awaken her dimming senses as her mind cleared for a bit to whirl around for her chances of escape and survival. The thick roll of vine being pulled by her hand followed her deliberate twists and turns on the tall bushes as she neared the vicinity of the rows of protruding rocks. The giant black bear rushing madly behind her is now only a dozen of meters away as it growled with fervor as its saliva splattered across its path that has been trampled to bits from its terrifying strength and speed.Asha could only hear her tumultuous heartbeats that seems to rival the thunderous echoes of a stormy sky
HuntThird Person’s POVThe thick snow carpet adorning the land of the Northern Selestine issued crumpling sounds as a shoddy-looking winter carriage passed by above it. The winter wind is merciless and sharp, and the wooden windows of the carriage flapped wildly while enduring the onslaught of the land’s natural weather. The driver of the carriage is only wearing a thin winter coat and trousers, but the chill of the wind did not affect his ability to control the steadfast pace of the carriage. Lyor languidly leaned forward on the front window of the carriage where he can chat with the driver that is also part of the first-class guards of the Lord’s manor. It is the monthly hunting expedition of Samel and his personal subordinates, so with the rest in the red plateau to compete in the end of the year competition of the Moon view temple, it is only Samel and Lyor at this time which explains the deserted appearance of their carriage with only the three of them al
Hunt IIThird Person’s POVLyor’s black wolf happily rushed to the east side of the small valley where he could smell the faint scent of blood. It seems that they arrived at the time when the giant black bears are out to hunt for their food. The verdant foliage rustled as his figure passed by, and the miniscule sound of his movements did not startle the nesting birds frolicking on the branches above. The feeling of embracing nature by wholly running around the wild forest further invigorated Lyor as his speed accelerated before pulling to a stop behind an arched tree trunk that must have been broken by one of the giant black bears because of the uneven claw marks visible on it. The black wolf crouched down forward with its inverted yellow pupils contracting with focus at the spot in front a couple of meters away. There are two giant black bears ranging from two to three meters tall. Their furry and wide bodies leaned down next to a lifeless deer as they opened t
Blue Moon ArenaThird Person’s POVSnoring sounds filled the wide carriage of the Rebelliad envoy as Raval lifted the wooden window to look out of the humungous piece of ancient arena in front of them that is bathed in the soft light of dawn. Their group arrived at the red plateau at almost midnight, and by the rules of the blue moon arena, they are stopped by to spend the night outside as the arena only opens at exactly six in the morning and closes at seven.Any arriving participants are only given an ample time of an hour to enter the arena, and they would not be able to exit again at the same day. It is already five in the morning and Raval did not sleep much with the loud snoring of his younger brothers. The five participants from Rebelliad are Samel’s trusted subordinates that he had adopted and trained personally, and all of them treat each other as sworn brothers since then. The time passed by quickly and huge tremors could be felt below them as the giga
Blue Moon Arena II Third Person’s POV Under the ethereal blue illumination of the moon’s reflection on the surface of the arena’s circular platform, Lore stood elegantly with his hands behind his back as his white robes fluttered with the sway of the wind. His exceptional face carved beautifully like jade glimmered with an impassive light as his alluring almond eyes slowly glanced around the half-filled viewing seats and viewing rooms around the platform. It has been a year since the last competition was held, but Lore could only marvel at the sense of excitement and thrill that he could feel every time that he is above the platform to start the matches that will decide the greatest force with the most exceptional talents and geniuses in all of Selestine. The beatings of the drum continued to rang across the air, and colorful fabric ribbons flitted below the platform as the sacred dancers of the temple emerged from sides. They twirled and bend elegantly to the rh
FutureThird Person’s POVIn the three days that they were cut off from the outside world, Asha and Samel completed the marking, and their bodies would exude each other’s scents from the physical and astral form. The memories of the past three days burned Asha’s cheeks, and she could not help but to bury her face on the soft bedding of the bed while savoring the sweetness and passion that she shared with Samel. Her movements caused the white quilt on her body to tilt to the side, and vague cherry marks could be seen on her fair white skin. There are a few on the side of her neck and down on her delicately carved collarbone. Asha came out of her shyness as she sat up to get out of the bed, but her eyes fell on the red marks on her body, and redness tinged her whole face to her earlobes. She just woke up and realized that Samel was not on the bed.She could feel his presence through her soul, and guessed his position in the villa while taking out a towel and bathrobe to the man-mad
New BeginningThird Person’s POVThe atmosphere in the garden of the city lord manor is in full swing. After the ritual of the mate ceremony and the vows of the two fated mates, the main dish was served by the servants of the manor, and the guests were instantly conquered by the tantalizing smell of the seared steak meat that was placed on their tables. The music once again sounded in the surroundings, and the two protagonists of the night walked down the platform and into the central pavilion where their friends and families are staying.Their arrival near the pavilions instantly caught the attention of the guests, and the veil that was on Asha’s face before is now gone which caused most of the guests to pause on their movements while looking incredulously at the enchanting and mesmerizing face of the young lady that appeared beside their city lord as his fated mate. How could there be such a beautiful person in this world? The young ladies that are still stunned silly felt a lot
FatedThird Person’s POVThe sound of the flute followed the steps of the two protagonists of the night. Every step the two takes, the wolf lanterns on the side of their archways lit up like it is leading the way for them, and the moment the two of them arrived at the crescent platform, bursts of silver lights could be seen exploding up in the dark blue sky as drum beats sounded which heightened the excitement of the crowd of guests.Samel stepped forward and stood still at the other end of the crescent platform, and Asha did the same while their eyes stayed staring at each other from the distance. The fireworks in the sky continued to go off one after another, and the silver lights that exploded resembled the fall of a rain that sprinkled down gently on the entire garden of the city lord manor. The flute and the drum joined to create a mesmerizing melody that only sounds pleasant to the ears. Everything is so magical and magnificent that the young ladies that were invited to the
Vows Third Person’s POV.The reunion of the brother and sister fell into the eyes of Samel and the others. Samel glanced at the soldiers of the rebel army to help the other survivors of the Blood Wolves clan inside the manor. And he did not wait for Raval to report about the affairs that happened in the headquarters of the rebel army, because he is already striding towards Asha and Arkon’s direction. He stopped a few steps behind Asha and waited for the brother and sister to let go of each other.Asha has long felt the presence of her mate approaching from behind, and after letting her emotions calm down through the warmth that is coming from the embrace of her eldest brother, she gently let go and took a step backwards while smiling brightly at Arkon. And under the surprised eyes of her eldest brother, Asha turned to the side and pulled Samel’s right hand to let him stand next to her. “Eldest brother, this is Samel, my fated mate.”All the words that she wants to say to her elde
Mate CeremonyThird Person’s POVElish’s cries echoed in the still courtyard, and the two personal subordinates of crown prince Rogeus could only cower in the corner while looking at their master with worried looks. Even though they do not know what is happening, from the words of the young lady, their crown prince’s mate seems to be accusing him of murdering someone who is close to her. They have been following crown prince Rogeus since they were adolescents, and they are aware of the things he did to get the appreciation of the King. In the past, it might be about letting the wealth of the royal palace prosper, but this year, the king ordered their crown prince a lot of things that they could not pry into. Killing someone would not be impossible, and judging by the frozen figure of their crown prince, then the young lady’s accusations must be the truth. The two personal subordinates felt their heads aching as their worries for their crown prince skyrocketed. If their conjecture
Truth IIIThird Person’s POVIt took Elish over two hours to stand up from the floor of her room. The sudden movement of her limbs caused the stiff muscles to creak with numbness as she swayed to the side and fell down without an ounce of strength. The force from falling on the wooden floor did not even arouse any expression on her face, and the pain seems to be negligible in contrast to the pain that is swarming in her chest. The content of the letter keeps on resounding in her mind without a pause, and the hatred and grief intermingled with no outlet for her to vent on. Although she knew that it is the work of the crown prince of the Artemia Kingdom, the advice of her uncle seems to have formed a chain on her ankles to stop her from moving past the moral bottom line that was taught to them in the village.Elish knows that her family and the rest of the clan members would not be able to rest in piece if they know that she stained her soul and hands with blood. The Jade clan has a
Truth IIThird Person’s POVA horrendous scream echoed across the trail of the underground mine, and the sound did not diminish until a minute of struggle. The ice worms in the prison cell that suddenly swarmed to King Regor did not waste any time to wriggle their chubby bodies to the only source of warmth in the room. With the ice glass and the metal wall confining them, they could only sense King Regor’s presence and not the presence of the four individuals that are watching through the ice glass door.It is the reason why the soldiers would not care much about the existence of the ice worm prison cells, because aside from sleeping all year round, the ice worms could only stay in the underground and could not touch any heat that comes from the sun or a fire. They desire for a source of warmth, but their bodies would whither the moment they felt the heat coming from any kinds of fire. This is the reason why the ice worms could only look for the warmth of the human body, and burro
TruthThird Person’s POVPriestess Eva and General Markus headed to the back kitchen of the resting area where there is already a wafting fragrance of fresh milk, breads and eggs. The two were greeted by the military chef that accompanied their group to take care of their meals with a wide smile. “Good morning Priestess and General, the breakfast is ready, please enjoy your meal.”Priestess Eva smiled and nodded at the other party before helping General Markus by carrying the small tray of two bottles of warm milk that is left after he took away the two bigger trays that holds both of their breakfast. They settled in a table near the back kitchen before digging in on the filling meal. After they finished their breakfast and took an hour to wash themselves and change into clean and tidy robes, Priestess Eva did not hesitate to take General Markus to King Regor’s current prison cell. It took them ten minutes to arrive outside the locked door, and the soldiers guarding outside salute
Demise IIIThird Person’s POVThe capital city of the Artemia Kingdom is filled with liveliness due to the arrival of the envoys from the different forces across the land of Selestine. The hospitality of the royal palace is top notch, and no complaints could be heard from the guests, but most of them merely acted perfunctorily at the welcome banquet while screening for the answers that they need about the disappearance of King Regor. The prince from the Black Kingdom used a lot of gold to buy some information from the servants of the royal palace, and he sent a letter back to his royal father with satisfaction. Most of the servants in the royal palace has experienced the night of the attack when King Regor was taken, and a few of them could not endure the temptation of the huge amount of wealth that the prince of the Black Kingdom is giving in exchange for a couple of words from their mouths. The Mist and Cole clan leader did not care about the small movements of the guests, and
