Tears slipped out of the mother's eyes. "Yes, I have. I know his destiny, the prophecy but, there is always light even in darkness. I will not let my child be killed when I know he can escape his fate!"
The woman stepped closer. "How? His mate, you are being delusional, there was never a mate in the prophecy" she verbalized. "You and I know that the darkness will grow inside of him as he grows older every day and when the time finally comes, he will lose control and the whole world will be destroyed!"
"Please, you have to help me. He will find his mate, she can tame his demon, she will save him." She gulped. "I may not know who you are but, I can see that you have a good heart and you won't watch an innocent child die!!"
The woman sighed sadly. "Your child isn't innocent, he has never been innocent"
"I believe the goddess bought him back for a reason!"
The mother turned and quickly picked up her son. "Please, you have to save him" Without hesitation, she shoved the child into the woman's arms.
Slowly, the lady unwrapped the sheets covering the baby's front, there they saw on his little chest was the shape of a star, it seemed to be growing bigger and glowing silver.
"With his mate, he has a great destiny" the woman stated with a little smile as she looked at the woman encouragingly. "He's beyond the knowledge of men" she continued.
The mother nodded. "His father is a Lycan" she blinked away her tears, trying not to think about her mate, she had no idea of what had happened to him after she had left.
The lady held the child to her chest protectively.
"I want him to have this with him" The mother shakenly took off a necklace from around her neck, it was a shape of a moon, she placed it on the woman's hand. "Something to remind him of us" A shaky breathe left her lips
This was harder than she thought!
"What's his name?" The woman asked.
"His name is Karam" she replied with a sad smile. Never in her life had she imagined her son would have this kind of life.
He was meant for greatness.
Soon, they started hearing the heavy voices of the villagers. They were getting closer!
"They are here, you need to leave!" The mother slowly pushed the woman, telling her to leave.
"What about you?" The woman asked worriedly.
"He is my son, if dying is the only way to save him, then I will do it a thousand times"
"You don't even know me, how can you be so sure that I won't hand him over to them or I can kill him myself," the woman asked a bit confused.
Never had she been trusted this much.
"I trust you, Maye. Now go!"
With a little nod, the woman vanished with the baby.
The poor mother fell on the ground as she wept bitterly. She wept for her cruel fate, her family, her son, and her mate
Not long enough, the villagers finally got to her with touches to guide their way and weapons to kill her and her son.
The nerve of these people!
"Where is the boy?" One of the villagers asked with a yell. He seemed to be the leader of the group.
With difficulty, she stood on her feet. "You will never find him. Mark this day and my words, you will regret the day you tried to kill an innocent child!" She closed her eyes and held both her arms wide open, she enchanted loudly in a completely different language...
"àyyiràkáz iælae æßßm iræb ßiráj hædeedáw!!"
A very loud scream left her mouth as she used her remaining energy to cast a powerful spell. Suddenly, the rain stopped, lightning and thunder also found their way back to where they came from, and lastly, the sky cleared into a bright blue color.
Coughing out blood, she gave a weak smile as she thought about how her son was saved. Slowly she fell to the ground and took her last breath... Or that was what we thought.
To be continued...

"Mind if I join you?"Skylar lifted her head and smiled at the guest and nodded.Errol returned the smile and sat beside the she-wolf and they both stared at the large flower field before them, watched as the wind blew through them, the chatter of the children that ran around were joyous, dancing and singing."I heard you were in a coma, it was pretty impressive what you did back there. You could have lost your life" Errol spoke after a few minutes of just watching the sun luminant on the flowers and the children danced around, their laughter erupting louder, they were all smiles of no worries, totally clueless of what happened not too long ago when the world was being led into an uncertain future when forces of evil ruled over and occupied the mind of those seeking for a final touch to create chaos.Skylar hmm an answered, smiling as she watched Aiden and Caden chase the other children. He lost count of how long the battle had been going on between him and the reincarnation of his brother and so far, one could say none of them were winning but as he lifted his head and stared at Alastair, on his true Lycan form, also panting, his canines seemed to had grown longer during the fight, Caesar couldn't say the same anymore, compared to him, Alastair in his animal form didn't have many wounds."Is that all you got?" Caesar challenged with a smirk on his face, he refused to intimidated by his subject.Suddenly, Alastair got back into h
Finally, Skylar returned to the battlefield, she bluntly stopped on her paws, her eyes widening, her mouth hanging open. Cries, blood, whimpers, and screams erupted the field, she could barely recognize it as the same field she left a few minutes ago.Her purple eyes scanned around and she saw people lying on the ground, dead, floating in their blood, most of them while others were trying to keep the demons away and they were losing. They were losing? The words circled her head, registering their meaning and suddenly, they just clicked and reality hammered to her the ground, her people were dying in the arms of Caesar's demons.Suddenly, her thoughts were penetrated through with a loud squeal and her head instantly reeled towards the direction and found Primrose pinned to the ground in her human form while a demon hovered over her. Skylar instantly launched forward, tackling him to the ground, and ri
Shailyn stood her ground, blasting every demon or werewolf that came her way, using less of her powers. Around her was even more hectic, everyone was fighting for their life and for a second she thought everything was going smooth till a loud yowl reached her ears and her heart skipped a beat because she could recognize that yowl anywhere."Skylar..." The fairy panicked, spinning in circles but she could not find her best friend insight. From across the field, she met the eyes of the four witches fighting alongside each other, she noticed how their expression mirrored hers, something was wrong and she had to find Skylar. For a moment, Shailyn forgot she was on a Battlefield where hundreds of lives had already been lost and she didn't notice the invisible shield blocking her path till she walked into it, hitting it with her forehead. Shailyn instantly halted, rubbing her forehead before her eyes widened. She held her hands up but touche
Opaque pair of orbs stared into a pair of silver eyes. Anger and resentment flowed through his veins from his fingertip.Caesar stared at his brother, his little brother that died before his eyes was standing in front of him, meters away, leading thousands of different creatures to battle.A lump formed in his throat, his eyes going dark with anger and vexation, his finger balled into a fist at the sight and his snake of mate was standing beside his greatest enemy, a smirk on her face, mocking and taunting, Errol was right and he hated to admit.King Alastair cleared his throat loudly, watching his brother and his thousands of armies filled with more demons and less of other creatures. "Hello Caesar, we meet again"Caesar met the green orbs of the she-wolf he thought he had locked up in his cell, his anger boiling at the smirk on her face, another mocking look and he hated it, he had been tricked, tu
