She tossed and turned on her bed, gripping the bedsheets to her chest while soft giggles left her lips. She turned on her side, grinning like a lovestruck pup or the truth was, she was in love and it was already getting to her head. Meeting the King was out from the picture as she met her mate two nights ago when they spend the whole night together, he escorted her back and left from there before dawn. Devika had the best evening of her life as she recall the soft kisses he left on the back of her palm once in a while, the gentleness and the care he had with her, the love and longing in his eyes when he stared at her, it was as if she was the most priceless being on earth and he was just lucky, Devika considered herself the lucky one being blessed with a gentle mate. She squealed loudly, throwing her hands and legs on the bed but that squeal turned into a pout as she realized she didn't get to see the King, she didn't get to see what he truly was.
