Dimitri point of view

THE NIGHT AIR WAS soothing, as I laid my back on the window frame of my black Rolls Royce, underneath the moonlight. I let out a silencing hiss at the creatures that chirped all around the dark forest. Poor things fell silent, even they feared me. Chugging hard on my bottle, loving the burning feeling it left on my throat. I had already emptied an entire bottle of Bourbon and I was on my way to ending the second one. But sadly one of the perks of being an immortal lycan werewolf was that I couldn't get drunk no matter how hard I tried. Goddess only knew how bad I wanted to be drunk right now. I stared at the gigantic moon that hung above me, as it radiated with pure energy and power. The moon goddess must probably be having a good laugh right now at my pathetic situation, just today she had made sure I and my so-called human mate cross paths. Couldn't she for once stay out of this.

Why?! Why did she have to show up... now? Her appearance only spelt danger to the pack according to Celeste prophecies and that old witch was never wrong. Countless times I had hoped her premonitions were shamed but each time they were proved right, that's the reason why for centuries our pack leaders always thought it wise to listen to her warnings, but it was never a habit of mine to be told what to do. Although I couldn't have a mate who would be the undoing of my pack which my predecessors had tried to keep strong despite the curse that keeps dwindling our numbers every passing full moon. If there was any possibility that my mate could be of any danger to the pack I might as well have to reject her for the survival of the pack. Moreover, there are hundreds and thousands of wolves all over the globe dying just for the opportunity to be addressed as my mate and Luna of all wolves. I could feel Luca whimper sadly, I could feel his sadness from within. Whatever the scenario was he still wanted her, irrespective of who or whatever doom she represented. He needed her still.

I was about to gulp down the last doze of my Bourbon but I stopped. I had too. I caught a scent that put my entire senses in overdrive. I could feel Her around again.

'Mate!' Luca growled in excitement 'she's close'.

I could hear her little heart, beating faintly within her chest. I could smell the most alluring scent of lilacs and vanilla mixed together from near the outskirts of the forest, pulling me to her like a moth to a flame.

"What the hell is she doing here in this woods? She shouldn't be here" I jumped down smashing the almost dried bottle up Bourbon on the hard ground. This forest wasn't safe at day but even more at night, no one could tell what creature you would find but whatever creature you would meet won't come with a smile while baring gifts and presents that I could assure you for sure.

'Mate- she is hurting. We need to find her. We need to protect mate,' Luca told me and I couldn't agree less with that. No one dares to hurt what belongs to me. No one, not even the devil himself would dare to do that. She was mine and mine alone.

In a fluid and incredibly fast motion, I roamed through the forest like a bullet in the night, following the beat of her heart which seemed to dwindle with each passing second, urging me to move faster.

***

When I arrived I could see her laying on the bare ground with what smelt like her blood covering her like a sticky bloody tattoo. And a man was looming over her laughing like a mad man. Rage tore through my body like a knife through butter. My blood boiled in anger. How dare he hurt my mate?!

He bent low over her body like a creep, as he reached to attempt to touch her face. In super speed I was beside him, gripping his hand so tight and crushing it not caring about the cracking sounds of his bones.

"If you touch even a single hair on her head one more time I'm going to cut your bloody head off and feed it to the wild animals of the forest" I threatened and I was never known to make an empty threat. I threw him away, with a thud his body slammed on to a tree then another tree and then to the ground.

"Who in the fucking hell are you?! And how dare you even touch me, werewolf. Do you know what I am?!" He snarled, wiping some blood off his lips as he tried rearranging his bones.

"What are you? A dead man that's for sure. And I would tell you my name but it's no use seeing as your about to lose your head any moment now if you don't watch your tongue." I chuckled. "But since you're about to die anyways my name is Dimitri Axel Castellan '' I smirked as I could see the shock and fear in his eyes, call me insane but I always enjoyed seeing the fear in my enemy's eyes. Actually I reveled in it. He knew who I was, what I had done. Whatever version of the story he must have heard about me wasn't a good one, that I was always sure about. There was never a good side to the story.

I was never one to chit chat so in a flash my hand was sawing his head off his body in a clean swipe. Fuck it! I got blood on my shirt, not that I cared having a bit of blood on me but his blood was strange. It was black as coal. It was like nothing I had seen before.

His body fell on its knees, limp to the ground while his head rolled to somewhere around the bushes and blood spilled across the floor. The bastard was as good as dead now. Immediately I turned back to see my mate laying on the floor as she trembled in pain. I couldn't control myself as I rushed to her side, cupping her little head in my hands.

"Save me!" She managed to beg through her pale white lips. At those words I felt something inside me snap, I don't know what it was but I couldn't help feeling the need to protect and shield her from the eyes of the entire cruel world. She wasn't waking up. I placed my palm on her forehead, she was burning up fast and it seemed like poisoning.

"Hang on, I'm here now. You're safe" I clenched on my jaws as I spoke. Why did I feel an unending urge to protect her so much?

"Mom, please save me!" She muttered as I could see a single tear roll off her eyes and onto her cheeks. She was in great agony, she needed to see a healer. I had to rush her to the pack's doctor. Quick.

I lifted her, racing back to the pack. It's really funny how destiny goes. The one I always wanted gone is the one I now wanted nothing other than to protect. I could hear my mother's words replay in my head as I muttered along.

"Those destined for each other are bound to cross paths one way or the other. It is bound by the moon and was fated by destiny herself" indeed my mother was right after all. She always was.

Unknown point of view

"When the skies cries blood the earth is fertilized with something- dark, something evil-, something wicked" a slow but wicked laugh crawled out my lips echoing all around my dark solitary chambers, as I hummed the lullaby Mockingbird. I haven't left the four corners of this room for the past eleven days. I was already running out of time, I needed to find her. It's been fifteen years now and I haven't felt our family ancestral magic. It was almost as though it was wiped off the face of the earth. Well almost. I gasped allowing an evil smirk to creep up my crimson red lips, while my eyes fluttered wide open welcoming the darkness around. I immediately stood up from my mid air meditation.

I can suddenly feel her now. It was like I could feel all the energy bottled up for fifteen years was finally tipped off over the edge, causing it to shatter and all that energy could be felt everywhere. And she is quite closer than I had thought.

Every step I took echoed around until I met my magic workshop.

"Illuminous" I mumbled, snapping my fingers, instantly my room was lit up by red burning candles and I flipped through the pages of my grimoire to find a location spell and there it was.

"Let's see now, my little niece. Where could you be?" I could hear Scylla hiss in excitement, as she slithered towards me. She knew how long I had to wait but no more waiting. She had been able to hide from me and evade the clutches of the red circle coven but not any more, not this time. Time was already wearing thin and I needed to have her at all cost.

I opened a cage, taking out a black raven. It cawed, fluttering his wings, making me squeeze on its neck even tighter.

"Insidous ankse revelus potem" I said the spell twisting the birds neck, putting an end to it's little protest. As soon as it's blood touched my hands, I inhaled deeply as series of visions flew by my mind trying to show me her exact location.

"Yes! Yes! I can see it all now. There you are." I giggled as I saw where she resided and it wasn't as far away as I thought.

"Bournville. She hides in Bournville" I turned around wasting no time. I needed to get her.

"Mistress!" Yennefer said, rushing to my side as soon as I stepped out of my chambers. Yennefer was my best witch and was a natural born killer, she showed no mercy or weakness, none at all. She was my prodigy. It was no wonder she was my second in command. Before I met her she was a petty thief whose parents abandoned when she was just eight because they feared she was the incarnation of the devil when she threw her mother off the roof. Her dumb parents called the priest to perform an exorcism but the poor child didn't just have any control of her unique abilities yet. Now that's what I call true power. Power isn't meant to be controlled and guided with restrictions and red tapes. True power is meant to be wielded and bent to your own will with no limitations whatsoever. After I took her under my wings she went back to show her family what a monster truly was. I guess you could say I saw myself in this little witch.

"Yennefer, tell your sisters, we leave tonight. I have found her '' her bright purple eyes widened and without any further question Yennefer nodded her head running off to spread the word. I haven't seen my little niece in fifteen years, I wonder if she missed me much, well I was about to find that out. I am literally dying for a family reunion.

Epilogue Third person point of viewSylvester's urgent calls sliced through the silent halls of the Volkari vampire coven's palace like the swish of a blade through the air. With each step, he could feel the weight of the news he carried growing heavier, this news was very huge and unsettling to their plans. Sylvester knew for sure that his master, the vampire king, would not be pleased with this, and that made a knot of anxiety in his chest. The towering doors to the throne room quivered and groaned under the force of his push, announcing his presence with a thunderous echo that reverberated through the vast expanse of the chamber. "Sire! Sire! Sire!" Sylvester called, his eyes wide with urgency and fear.He stopped in front of Konstantine, his master and King of the vampires, sinking into a low, groveling bow that communicated the gravity of the situation.Konstantine remained unmoved where he sat on his throne, his black robes billowing around him like the wings of a raven. Isabella's Point Of View."Come back to me, Isabella," I heard a familiar voice plead, echoing through my mind as I sat amidst my family and coven, about to embark on a ritual that would link my powers with theirs. My brows furrowed, and a perplexed frown tugged at the corners of my lips."Mom, did you hear that?" I asked, turning to my mom."I heard someone calling my name," I pressed, my gaze darting from one coven member to the next. "It sounded urgent, almost desperate. Are you sure you didn't hear anything?""Hear what dear?" My mother responded with a face stiff smile and an uneasy silence fell over the room. She exchanged a knowing glance with my father, and I felt a chill slither down my spine."You need to fight this Isabella! You are stronger than this Darkness." The familiar voice said again. The desperation in the voice, as if the speaker were fighting for my very survival, stoked a deep-seated sense of unease within me. A throbbing ache began to pulse in my chest, a tende

Isabella's Point Of ViewI awaken in a strange room. The decor looked eerily familiar, it was a small and simple room, with pink and white paintings on the wall. My eyes reached the little fireplace, that's when I discovered where I was.'This is my room!' I thought to myself. This is my room when I was a little girl, at the Black Rose coven. What the hell was I doing here?I look at the door which was pushed open, allowing in Diego. It was Diego but was a bit different from what I had in my memory of him. For example his white frost hair was gone and replaced with a brown color he had as a kid and he wasn't putting on his usual dark clothes like I had remembered of him, he was wearing bright colors."What the hell Isabella Rosa Santacruz? Are you fucking kidding me right now? Everyone is waiting for you downstairs and you are lying in bed…" he uttered. I quickly got out of bed, stepping closer to him."What happened to your hair?" I ask, attempting to touch his hair, he moves out of

Isabella's Point Of ViewTHE NIGHT CAME rather too quickly, and I was all dressed in a beautiful dress for Dimitri's ascension ceremony. I stood in a crimson red dress that was picked out specially by Dimitri, and I must say he had a good taste. It was a flawless long gown, with a thigh high slit by the side. It clung nicely to my skin, accentuating my every curve and showing just the right amount of cleavage which I loved. I could tell Dimitri put a lot of thought into picking it.It was already time and the ascension ceremony had begun. Everything was already set in place, gentle bands played soft music, while the gathered guests mingled and chattered, everything was perfect.I could feel tingles dance on my skin, instantly I was enveloped by a warmth all around me.It was my mate.I felt his sweet and feathery kisses trail down my neck, as his arms circled tight around my waist, I bit on my lower lip, trying to fight back the moan that was threatening to escape from my lips."Blood

Isabella's Point Of ViewToday was going to be a good day!The sun radiated brightly and the weather was beautiful, everything was almost peaceful for once-- well almost. There was still a lot to be wary of, including the reoccurring dreams that had been haunting me whenever I closed my eyes. The visions of Dimitri getting killed by me wouldn't let me be, they kept intruding in my thoughts every now and then. No matter how hard I tried to forget about it, it lingered.Honestly I didn't know what to make about these visions or who to tell so I kept it to myself for now. It wasn't the right time to bring up something as insane as that, I knew I would never hurt my Dimitri, I loved him too much and would rather see myself get hurt. For now we had an event to plan.It has been three days since the Alphas came by to ask for Dimitri to ascend the command as Supreme king Alpha of the wolves. The pack was in a joyous mood as everyone was getting everything ready for the coronation ceremony th

  • Blood Moon: The Lycan Alpha's Little Witch   A new dawn

Isabella's Point Of ViewWE ALL RETURNED back to the pack, welcomed with a feast to celebrate the pack's freedom from the curse that has held us down for decades. I personally was thankful that my friends were still alive. I was overjoyed when Dimitri had told me that they were all still alive; Stefanie, Kael, Gemini, Dixie… Iris. They were all fine and survived the Blackblood pack raid. Before I fell unconscious I had watched them all die before my eyes, but they were all fine, all of them healed and they had a lot to thank me for. I wasn't aware that I was powerful enough to cast a spell of that magnitude, a kind of magic performed on a wide scale like that was incredibly rare and almost impossible, but I did it.There was still a lot about being the chosen one that I needed to fully learn about. I needed to know everything about being the moon goddess chosen one. I needed to be aware about all the things I was capable of doing as the Gifted one. I had to test the limits to the po
