Chapter 39: Threat

    "Keatton," Mom called. She then runs towards me and hugged me tightly. I can feel the warmth of her tears falling down my forehead. "Mommy," I said. The emotion that I felt can't contain by myself so, I burst into tears also.

    "Help me," I said. My body shiver as I continued to cry. "You'll be fine, darling," she said. I look into her eyes. "H-He did this to me," I said. "H-He abused me, Mom," I swallowed hard. 

    "Dr. Karsyn did this to me," and there, I sobbed hard. Every time that my mind recalls the beating, the molestation, and the threats he gave to me are scars on my mind that are on replay. 

    "Help me, Mom, please," my breathing became uneven. Mommy Elise looked at me with red eyes due to crying a lot. 

    "Darling, Mom w--" she was cut off by a voice behind her. "Get out now, Elise," his baritone occupied the room.
