Sophia

“I had just gone through my first shift. Since our healing strengthened when we found our wolves, everyone thought that maybe after my first shift, I would gain my sight or it would improve. But things weren't simple; even in my wolf form, I was blind. Not as blind as I were in my human form, but still blind." He absentmindedly continues to play with the lock of my hair as if it is the thing that's holding him to the present. "My wolf was wild, and lack of vision made him almost feral. My father's training turned even harsher because he had to help my wolf reign his energy. Even now, a part of him is still feral."

A small pout forms on my lips because I don't think his wolf is feral. He has that wild energy that surrounds him, but it makes him lethal and powerful. He is magnificent.

Mine.

A word echoes in my mind as my wolf agrees with me.

"In front of you, he behaves like a lovestruck crazy beast, but he is still feral." He softly chuckles and taps my lips with his finger as

My heart breaks for Mikhail. Such a burden was put on him as a young man, poor baby .... As a mother, I can’t imagine leaving my son (to do it right in front of him) who still needed her. Dad trained him to be just like him so that ruthlessness got him thru terrible days. Sophia has helped him heal!

Sophia Mikhail pulls me into his arms, his grip firm yet tender, as though he’s trying to anchor himself to the present and shake off the ghosts of his past. His breath brushes against my neck, warm and steady, and I can feel his body relaxing in my embrace. Wrapping my arms tightly around him, I hold him close. My fingers find their way to his hair, threading through the soft strands as I kiss his cheek. I can feel his emotions, raw and unguarded. There’s a strange lightness in him now, as if the burden he’s carried for so long has finally begun to ease. It’s subtle, but I know him well enough to see it, to feel it. With everything that we shared—our past, our experiences, our feelings—the bond between us felt stronger and more real. Closing my eyes, I take a steady breath and let the familiar warmth of my power flow through me. I send it through the connection that ties us together. I can feel his pain, his hurt... his struggles, and I want to erase them and fill every corner

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 142

SophiaThe soft glow of evening filters through my window as I finish tying a delicate bow on the basket I’ve been working on. The woven basket is filled to the brim with goodies, a homemade vegetable and chicken stew to nourish the new mother, some soft blankets for the pup, and a few herbal teas to help with her recovery, along with some other baby essentials like diapers, warm clothes, and beanies. I’ve tucked in a small stuffed duck for the pup too, because I remember how much Rose loved grasping her soft toy with her tiny fingers. It feels right to do this, to bring something personal, something thoughtful. Being Luna means more than holding a title. It means being there for the pack, celebrating their joys, and comforting their sorrows. Mikhail told me that it is a tradition in their pack that Luna welcomes the newest members of the pack and is one of the first guests to visit the new mom and the pup. So, here I am prepared to welcome our new member. As I step outside, the cr

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 143

MikhailFrom the beginning, there's been nothing to hide.I've never felt shame or regret for the things I've done to claim my revenge. They were choices I made with clarity, knowing the full weight of the consequences of my actions. But telling Sophia, peeling back the layers of who I am, admitting to the blood I've spilled and the darkness I've carried... feels different. It doesn't feel like a confession. It feels like freedom. It's as if I've ripped open a part of myself I've kept locked away. And instead of flinching, she listened... and in her gaze steady, there was understanding. My kindhearted mate didn't judge me for my actions but understood me.It feels as though a veil has been lifted between us, one I hadn't realized was there until this moment. Now, we are both truly bare in front of each other. Her acceptance isn't blind; it's deliberate. She knows my flaws and my sins, and still, she chose me.I am definitely Moon Goddess's favorite; that is why she gave me Sophia.I

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 144

MikhailI burst into a sprint, the bond's silence tearing through me like a jagged blade. Each step pounds against the earth, my wolf's restlessness and my desperation driving me faster. The world blurs around me, trees and buildings nothing more than streaks of color as I push myself harder."Sophia!" I mindlink again, hoping to get a response from her.But the void answers me. Hollow. Dead. The absence feels like a gaping wound, a suffocating emptiness that claws at my chest. My lungs burn, not from exertion but from the sheer panic constricting my breath. The mate bond is supposed to be the unbreakable connection between us, an eternal thread that binds us, no matter the distance. So why can't I feel her?I push harder, my claws digging into the earth as I leap over a low wall."Sophia! Answer me!"Nothing.I snarl, the sound ripping from my throat as I surge forward again. My wolf's fury roars in my ears, a wild, unrelenting force demanding to find her. Demanding to protect her.T

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 145

MikhailPressing my nose against Rose's hair, I take a deep breath. After Sophia, her scent is the only one that can help calm me down. My wolf's fury dulls to a low, simmering growl, the primal need to protect finally sated with my mate and pup in my arms."Shh, Rose. I've got you," I whisper hoarsely, my voice raw with emotion. My hand gently strokes her back, my touch trembling as I try to comfort her. "Dada's here. It's okay now."Her little arms tighten around my neck, her sobs hitching as she nestles closer. For a moment, the world narrows again, but this time, it’s not from rage or panic. It’s from the overwhelming need to hold on to them, to keep them safe.I glance down at Sophia, still lifeless against me. My chest aches, a dull throb that matches the fear coursing through my veins. "Sophia..." her name escapes me like a prayer, desperate and pleading."Mikhail, we need to take Sophia inside." That same man speaks, and through the haze of fury, I can finally recognize him.

MikhailI sit at the edge of the bed, elbows on my knees, fingers tangled in my hair. The clock ticks steadily in the background, each second dragging on like an eternity. It’s been over an hour since I felt that faint flicker through the bond. Now? Nothing. The silence in the mate bond is no longer empty; it feels blocked, like a wall has been built between us. My wolf paces restlessly, claws scraping against the edges of my mind, snarling at the barrier we can’t break. It wasn’t like this before. Earlier, the bond was cold and lifeless, as if she had slipped away. But now... now it’s different. Now, it feels like she’s there but out of reach, just beyond the edge of my grasp.I clench my fists, fighting the frustration surging through me. The urge to smash something, anything, grows with each passing second, but I can’t risk waking Rose. She’s still curled up beside Sophia, her little face peaceful for the first time since this nightmare began.Sophia.I shift closer to her, my hand

MikhailMerope bursts into the room, her movements quick and purposeful, with Alexei close on her heels. Instead of coming inside the room, he stands at the door and watches Sophia with a pained expression.Beneath the pain, I can sense his anger. His wolf flashes in his eyes, and he is angry that someone is hurting his Luna. Then his eyes connect with mine, and I see his gaze burning with the promise that he will be by my side when I fulfill my hunger for revenge. But right now, I can't think about that because right now I am nothing but a helpless mate who is unable to do anything for his mate.Merope eyes land on Sophia, and for a moment, her lips part in a soft gasp, pain flashing across her face. But it’s gone as quickly as it comes, replaced by a hard, calculating look. She takes a step closer, her gaze locked on Sophia as though she’s deciphering some invisible code, piecing together fragments of a puzzle only she can see."Tell me, what is happening with her? • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 148

MikhailSophia is still unconscious in the room we left her in. It kills me to leave her, but I had no choice. If I stay in the same room as her, I will not be able to think straight. All my attention will be on her instead of trying to find a way. I need to think like an Alpha, not just as a mate. And for that, I need to think with a rational mind.My wolf snarls inside me, restless and enraged, but I force him back. Jake is seated on the arm of a couch, his arms crossed and his jaw tight, looking like he’s two seconds away from punching a hole through the wall. Caleb, on the other hand, is practically vibrating with energy. His hand grips the wooden armrest so tightly that I’m surprised it hasn’t splintered. While Lucas is staring out into the dark as though he’s expecting answers to appear there. He doesn’t speak, but the tension in his shoulders tells me he’s just as agitated as the rest of us.They arrived an hour ago, and unlike me, they could feel Sophia trapped somewhere. T

LucasI step out of my room, and the air outside is cooler than I expected. I make my way to the side of the house, where I know Caleb’s been camping out. Sure enough, there he is, sitting on the steps with his elbows resting on his knees. His energy is all over the place, restless and sharp. He’s been like this since Sophia collapsed, and I know why. He hasn’t let his wolf out. That kind of restraint messes with you. I can see it in the tension in his shoulders, the way his jaw is locked, and the way his foot taps against the ground like he’s barely holding it together.“Caleb,” I call out, stepping closer. He glances up at me, his eyes narrowed. There’s something in his expression that’s hard to read, like he’s fighting himself. He doesn’t say anything, just stares at me for a second before looking away, his fingers running through his hair.“Elder Merope asked me to meet her at the ritual circle in an hour,” I say, keeping my tone steady.Caleb stiffens at that, his hand freezing

Lucas My chest feels tight, like I can’t get a deep enough breath no matter how hard I try. My thoughts are a tangled mess, looping back to one thing... one person.Sophia.She didn’t ask to be my sister, but she stepped into that role like it was the easiest thing in the world. She didn’t just show up when it was convenient; she was always there. Even when I didn’t deserve it.The day when she risked herself to save me, I swore to never take that for granted. She’s tough as hell, but right now, she’s the one who needs someone to be with her... someone who helps her break the cage and free herself. And that someone is me.I rub my hands over my face, trying to push down the weight sitting heavy on my chest. It doesn’t budge. My wolf, though? He’s steady. Unshaken. Not for a second does he think we can’t do this. He knows we can. I feel his trust in me, in us, like an anchor. If anything, he’s itching to make whoever did this to her regret it. And so am I.I stand up, pacing the room,

MikhailThe ticking of the clock is louder than it should be.Gregor’s words loop in my head, each one sinking its claws deeper into my thoughts. He said I can’t protect her, that I’ve already lost. He’s wrong. He has to be wrong. I grip the edge of my desk, the wood solid under my hands, grounding me.Losing Sophia is not an option. Whatever it takes, whatever the cost, I will find a way to save her. I’ll tear the world apart if I have to, but I will save her.Leaning back in my chair, I stare at the map on the wall as if it holds the answers I need.Every possible lead is marked in red, but none of it feels like enough. I press my fingers to my temples, trying to focus, to think of what I’m missing. There has to be a way to get ahead of Gregor and figure out what he’s planning. He is working alone. Someone is with him, but who are they? The door opens, and Alexei steps inside. His expression is serious, the set of his shoulders tense. He closes the door behind him and strides acro

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 161

SophiaThe darkness surrounds me, heavy and oppressive. I don’t know where I am. The air feels cold and damp, and the silence is suffocating, broken only by the echo of my own footsteps. Each step I take feels like it leads me deeper into a place I don’t understand.I try to focus, to find some clue, but everything looks the same. Shadows stretch and shift, playing tricks on my eyes. The walls, if they are walls, ripple as if alive. I move forward, but it feels like I am going in circles. No matter where I turn, there is no end, no exit. Just endless darkness.I stop for a moment and press my hand against what feels like a cold, smooth surface. It pulses under my palm, faint and rhythmic, as if it has a heartbeat of its own. I pull back sharply, my breath hitching. This place is wrong.“Where am I?” I whisper, more to myself than to anyone. My voice echoes, sounding small and fragile against the vast emptiness. There is no response, just the faint whisper of something I can’t quite h

MikhailThe corridor leading to the cells is dark, the faint scent of blood and damp stone filling the air. My steps echo as I descend into the basement. As I approach the row of cells, the dim light reveals Alexei leaning casually against the bars of one. His knuckles are smeared with blood, and a cocky grin spreads across his face when he sees me.“Ah, finally,” he says, straightening up. “I was starting to think you’d keep me waiting all night.”My eyes flick to Gregor, slumped in the corner of the cell behind Alexei. His face is battered, one eye swollen shut, and blood drips from a split lip onto his shirt. He doesn’t look so smug now, his breathing labored and his body trembling.“What happened?” I ask, my voice low and even, though the sight of Gregor like this doesn’t bother me in the slightest. If anything, it satisfies a small part of the beast inside me.Alexei shrugs, flexing his fingers as if shaking off the last remnants of tension. “He was irritating me. Something about

MikhailThe rage inside me hasn’t settled. It simmers, threatening to boil over, and I feel like I’m seconds away from ripping Gregor apart for everything he’s done to Sophia. My hands clench into fists, and I grit my teeth, fighting the pull of the darkness clawing at me. I need Sophia. I need her to calm me before I lose control.I’m about to slide into the car when Artemis and Atlas walk up. Atlas steps closer, his expression unreadable, while Artemis lingers just behind him. My gaze flickers to her, and I pause. She looks fine, as if she wasn’t injured at all.We have fast healing, but she has healed even more quickly than us. The only sign of what happened is the blood staining her shirt, stark against the fabric.“How are you?” I ask, my voice low but steady, masking the storm raging inside me.She smirks, crossing her arms. “I’m not so weak that a pathetic person like Gregor could hurt me,” she says, her tone dripping with mockery.I study her for a moment, noting the confiden

MikhailArtemis doesn’t flinch. She doesn’t move. She’s seen this coming and is doing nothing to stop it. One look at her face, and I know exactly what she’s planning. Her cold, composed expression is a mask, but beneath it, I see the sharp glint of strategy. Artemis is playing the long game, and Gregor just handed her the perfect opportunity.Atlas is trembling beside me, his fury barely contained. His hands clench and unclench as his entire body vibrates with the effort to hold himself back. He’s ready to snap, and I can’t blame him. But for now, he waits, his eyes locked on Artemis.Gregor crashes into her, and the impact sends her sprawling. She rolls to her side, curling protectively around her torso as blood gushes from the wounds his claws leave behind. A low growl escapes me, but I had to restrain myself from ruining the plan. But Atlas doesn't need to hold himself back as being her mate Gregor has just called for his wrath when he attacked Artemis.Like a storm breaking free,

MikhailElias looks momentarily stunned by the turn of events. He glances toward Gregor, and the two exchange a fleeting, charged look. I can see the silent communication between them, a mix of desperation and strategy playing out in their expressions.Elias clears his throat and straightens, quickly regaining his composure. His gaze shifts to Artemis, sharp and pointed.“The council cannot take the word of someone who has been deemed unstable,” he declares, his voice firm but carrying a slight edge of uncertainty. He tries to stand tall and project authority.Artemis doesn’t flinch. Her icy gaze is locked on Elias, unwavering, as if daring him to say more.“Enough, Elias,” Rowan interrupts, his voice calm but carrying an undeniable authority. “Nothing has been proven here, and you cannot project your personal opinions onto the council.”Elias stiffens, his lips pressing into a thin line. For a moment, I think he might argue, but Rowan’s unyielding gaze stops him. He glances around th

MikhailGregor’s face twists into an ugly scowl as he glances toward the councilmen, searching for support. His gaze flickers with frustration when none of them move or speak. Then he turns to me, glaring with all the defiance he can muster."How can you let him talk here like this?" he spits, his voice loud and grating as he addresses the council. "He is disrespecting you, and you are doing nothing about it!"Gregor’s lips curl into a mocking sneer. "Sophia is nothing to him," he snarls, gesturing toward me. "Not his mate, not a so-called Luna. If anyone has the right to her, it’s me. She belongs to my pack, and I am her Alpha.""You," My voice drops to an icy tone, "are nothing. You think you can stand here and claim her? You don’t even deserve to speak her name, let alone call her yours." I laugh coldly, the sound devoid of humor."She is not a bargaining chip to be traded or claimed by anyone else," My tone dripping with disdain. My eyes lock on Gregor. "And you will not speak of
