Aarav’s POV
I was in the conference room, doing some paramount work on my laptop. My phone rang and I smiled optically discerning the caller ID.
I picked up the call “yes Manvi” I said and waited for her response.
“Aarav I am confused” she replied from the other end.
I asked, perplexed “for what?”
“Wedding planner had sent some designs for the wedding theme but I am unable to finalise it. I have emailed you to please help me select the best one” she answered.
I agreed “hang on! I will check”
I kept the phone on the table putting it on the speaker, I opened up the mail on my laptop and
I opened up the mail and checked the options. It took me just 30 seconds to finalise and I informed her “the second one finalise it”
“Wow! I have been scratching my head over it for the past four hours and within a few seconds you have selected” she said in an amazed tone.
I smiled hearing her words and informed “well! It wasn’t that difficult, you know every day I am finalising lots of designs”
“Yes but this is not for your office, it is for our wedding!” She focused on the word “Wedding” by stretching it for a few seconds.
“I know sweetheart! Trust me this is the best” I assured her, I won’t compromise anything regarding her or the wedding.
“Okay thank you! I have lots of work to do, you are just sitting there and I am running all around” She replied with a complaint for not being there with her.
“Well! I am also not flirting with any girl, trying to crack a business deal” I informed with a tease in it.
She verbalized “don’t even contemplate it, Mr Sinha.. You are only mine and I am only yours”
“Looks like someone is jealous” I remembered about Ahana and further said “however there was a girl who said” I could not consummate my sentence.
“Who? You are there for a business deal right? So just focus on that! Did you understand?” she expressed rigorously.
I laughed a bit hearing her and then replied “of course I am focusing on my work, you know me. How can I flirt with someone?”
“Yes, I know Aarav take care bye,” she said in a hurry and ended the call.
Manvi is so cute, it is always fun to tease her. Can’t wait to see her as my bride and start a new life with her.
I continued with my work and soon the client arrived. I discussed the proposal with him, he gave me the presentation and further papers.
“Thank you! I will study them and then if I find it adequate we will sign the deal” I said after a long two hours of discussion.
He agreed and I headed back towards my room. I entered the lift and pressed the 8th-floor button. The lift was about to get close but I heard a familiar sound, I looked and it was Ahana she entered.
She smiled at me and I responded “hey!”
“Aarav, I was wondering if you could spend some time with me in the evening?” she questioned me.
I denied “sorry! I have an overseas meeting at 6 pm”
“Sorry and thank you! I am just tired of hearing such words again and again from you” she nearly shouted and I was left stunned at her sudden loud tone.
“Is it wrong to apologize?” I questioned her.
She took a deep breath and answered in a calm tone “no.. actually” she paused and kept on staring at me.
The lift opened and it was my floor, I was about to step out but she blocked my way. She was only a few inches away from me, I could feel her hot breaths. I glanced at her and she stepped back “Sorry… actually I don’t have any friends and I feel really comfortable with you so I thought to spend some time with you” she said in a low voice.
I could feel the sadness on her face and I know the feeling of loneliness. She moved to the side, I moved out of the lift and turned back.
“See you at 6 pm at the hotel lobby,” I said and a broad smile appeared on her face.
“Thank you” she shouted as the lift door shut and I headed towards my room.
I shifted today’s online meeting to 10 pm in the night and freshened up. I watched the news for some time and changed into a hoodie and joggers. This is the most comfortable outfit for me. I moved down and saw Ahana standing at the entrance, I moved towards her and she again started to stare at me.
The other girl glanced at me and passed me a smile. Before I could react Ahana looked at her and shouted “excuse me! Don’t stare he is not your property”
The girl went away passing a look to Ahana, I rolled my eyes to her and asked “what was that?”
“What? She was looking at you with desirable eyes and I didn’t like that” she informed.
“Come on Ahana! We must ignore such small things.. You shouldn’t have said that to her” I exclaimed.
“Oh please don’t waste time, let’s look around and then have dinner at my favourite place in Delhi,” she said with excitement.
“We must be back before 10 pm” I informed her, and she understood that I had postponed my meeting. She nodded affirmatively and we left to explore Delhi.
We were at the India Gate, she clicked some pictures with me. My phone buzzed, she was annoyed “Aarav.. Please no phones”
“I have to take the call,” I said, I moved to the side and picked up the call. The manager informed me there is some issue in the construction of the building which was very close to my current location.
I informed Ahana about it, her face fell hearing this “it’s unfair Aarav”
“I am sorry! Take the cab back to the hotel. Bye!” I said and immediately left to solve the issue as work was more important than exploring the city.

hana’s POVIt was just a day to the wedding and nothing was working out. He wasn’t ready to break his alliance with Manvi and today he just threw me out of the room like old furniture. He wasn’t scared of my threatening, and there was confidence in his voice. He is just irresistible to me, I moved downstairs and saw Manvi sitting down closer to her parents.Nandini applied ointment to her wound and said “after this, I won’t be able to care for you”Manvi had a smile on her lips but tears in her eyes. “Mumma, I will miss you, especially your scoldings” she replied in a low tone.Karan caressed her head and said “save the tears for tomorrow, why it’s so difficult to
Aarav’s PovAhana didn’t want me to reveal the truth to Manvi, she used wedding rituals for her own behinds. She said “Manvi.. Before the wedding, you are not allowed to meet your groom. It’s a bad omen.” Ahana said, lightly slapping Manvi’s arm.I glanced at Manvi who was already tense with the bad omen that took place during Haldi and Mehendi rituals. Ahana triggered further “you don’t want wedding rituals to spoil like pre-wedding rituals,” she said meaningfully.Manvi looked at me for a while and then said “Ahana I will go but let me talk to Aarav first..”A smile appeared on my face hearing her but Ahana was left tense. Ahana said “No Manvi.. After marriage, you can take to him whole day&rdquo
Aarav’s POVMy eyes were fixed on Ahana, but she wasn’t doing anything suspicious. However, the moment I saw painful expressions appearing on Manvi’s face I rushed down the stairs immediately breaking the wedding rules of not seeing the bride till the weddingI held her hand and asked her in concern “What’s wrong?”“I don’t know Aarav, it’s painful” she was clueless about the reason for the pain. The tears started to brim down her eyes due to extreme pain.I took out the handkerchief from my pocket and wiped the Mehendi, whenever it physically contacted her hand a painful sigh escaped her mouth. I gave an angry gaze to Ahana and she passed me a victory smile.I then glan
Ahana’s POV I transmuted my dress and emerged, I stood at my doorstep leaning against it. I saw Aarav glancing at me for a moment. I passed him a wink and he looked away. He moved closer to the railing and got engaged on the phone. I smiled to myself and approached my steps towards him, I stopped behind him and hugged him keeping my head on his back. He tilted his head behind and then pushed me away. He turned and I noticed his vexation, god he looked even sultrier. “You look even hotter in anger,” I said in a seductive tone moving my fingers on his arm. He took a deep breath and stepped aside. He eyed me and said “shut up! The more you will stay away from me, it will be better for you”
Aarav’s POVKaran wrapped a bandage on Nandini’s hand as she was winching in pain. Nandini assured him “I am fine Karan, not hurt as much as manvi”He eyed her for a moment and then picked up the turmeric bowl in his hands. Nandini asked him to be careful as he might also hurt himself. He carefully examined it with his finger and noticed something, he was left shocked and uttered “how did the glass pieces get mixed into this?”I glanced at Ahana, who was smirking at me. I was exasperated by this move of hers. What if Nandini had applied turmeric on her face? It would have left scars for life, she might have had to go for surgeries. I sighed with my noetic conceptions.I eyed Manvi who was in pain. I held her hand and pulled out the p
Ahana’s POVThe pre-wedding rituals began today, there are just two days left for the wedding. I have to convince him anyhow to back out from the wedding otherwise I have to show my devil side to him.I saw him sitting on the small stool in a yellow dress looking so dashing and charming. It was time for turmeric to be applied to the body. How can I miss the chance to touch him, I rushed to Nandini and said “just a second aunty”He eyed me and passed him a smile. I applied the mixture to his face, arm and legs. I again tried to convince him but he was determined at his decision. I purposely pretended to slip and he grabbed me. The Haldi which was on his hand was transferred to my waist, this was a sign that he belongs to only me as the remaining mixture is supposed to be applied on the bride before anyone els
