Meanwhile, Luthor was lying face up on his bed in his room. He was staring up at the ceiling as he mind was occupied with different thoughts. He had only told Maya about the job offer Rose gave him but skipped the part where she said she wanted to invest in their family and would help them release their father. He wasn’t sure how Maya would take this matter so he chose to not tell her yet.

He suddenly snapped out of his thoughts when he heard a knock on his room door. “Come in.” He answered and the door pushed open as Amelia strutted into the room.

“Mia, it's you? What brought you here?” Luthor asked as he adjusted to a sitting position on the bed when he saw his younger sister in his room.

“Well, I came to see you.” Amelia replied casually as she walked over to the bed and sat down by the edge of it while looking at Luthor .

“What happened? Is there something you want to tell me?” He asked with a raised brow.

“I should be the one asking if there is anything you want to tell us?
