The dance party began, and Nathan held Hilda's hand and led her onto the dance floor. A slow and soothing music happened to be playing, and the ladies and gentlemen on the dance floor slowed down their movements.

Hilda was upset the whole time while she was dancing with Nathan. Without saying a word, she rested her chin on Nathan's shoulder while slowly taking her steps along with the music.

Nathan seemed to know the reason for her silence, for he placed his hand on her back and gently patted her twice. "I just went to say hello to her."

Winnifred looked very much like Leah, so he really couldn't ignore her when she stood in front of him.
