Pay with a kiss

David's POV

I placed peace on the bed and I served her some snacks because I know she must be hungry after the long flight. She slept all the way so she barely had anything to eat. I placed the Tray right before her And I left in the room.

I went to the kitchen to prepare our meal. I know she was mad at me but | also know that she can't stay mad at me for long. I might be acting overly possessive but you can't blame me for being paranoid right? I'm just trying to save my family. My guts keeps telling me that molly or someone else will try to harm peace again and I can't let that happen.

I will never be at rest if I left peace unguarded. I know that there is no amount of nagging and complaining that she gives me that could make me ever reduce the guards around her. But just to make her happy I called the guards and asked them to be invisible. They should follow her without having to intrude her privacy. And without having her suspect that she was being followed.
