Maria frowned, unsure why Daniel suddenly brought up this matter.

After thinking for a moment, she nodded, "Yes."

Daniel sneered and chuckled softly, "Although you are now married to Young Master Smith and lack nothing, it wouldn't be fair for you to let others benefit from what is yours, right?"

Those words struck a chord with Maria.

Honestly, she didn't simply dislike Mia. She even held some resentment towards her.

Maria fell silent, and Daniel continued, "Ms. Dench calls the shots in the Miller Family. I remember the engagement gifts from the Smith Family were all given to her. As for whether she gave any to Mia, I'm not sure."

Lily's heart skipped a beat and she instinctively spoke up, "No! How could I give them to her? She spends money quickly. If I didn't keep them, she would have squandered it within two years!"

Daniel just smiled and remained silent, but his gaze towards Maria became more playful.
