Chapter 24-Memories

Rio could sense her unease, her nervousness as they eat and watch the movie together while engaging in small talk. Rio already learned a lot about her through her drunken talks but hearing her talk about herself made Rio realise he still knows so little about her.

“eeeh, that hits the spot! Beer and pizza go best” Andrea grinned in satisfaction as she drained a can of beer to accompany the several pieces of Pizza she’s had.

“I think you’re just a beer addict, I thought women don’t like beer very much…don’t they all prefer wine to beer?” Rio asked after Andrea opened another can.

“Where on earth do you hear that crap from?” Andrea frowned. “While many women preferred wine because of its elegance and subtle alcohol contents, you can’t judge all women with that” Andrea scolded and Rio nodded in defeat. Her actions and words had become more aggressive, her voice was several pitches higher than normal, taking her flushed look and unfocused gaze into consideration, it was obvious to Rio tha
