Welch didn't wait for Waverly to finish speaking and hung up on the call.

"What did she say?" Joseph asked while shaking the glass of wine in his hand. He came off as aloof, seemingly not bothered at all.

"She likes Boris and Agnes. She said that she'll give me the money when she gets back."

Joseph sneered and said, "She won't be able to give you any money after she returns."

 At the mention of that, Joseph's face became a little darker. He dialed Waverly's number and said, "Did you tell Welch that you would give him the money when you got back?"

Joseph narrowed his eyes, "Weren't you going to give the money back to Bellamy?"

Waverly sighed and gazed out of the window, "I don't have money anymore. I used too much money in the past. When I go back, I have to work hard to make money. I have to do some odd jobs."
