Chapter Fifty

Before Mike could raise an alarm, the so-called lawyer used a syringe to inject an instant poison into his neck causing him to struggle to breathe. 

Using his body as a shield so others outside wouldn't see what was happening, the killer pretended like he was having a conversation with Mike. 

To make it look more real, he held Mike's hand on the table and Mike didn't have much strength to struggle. 

The killer held him like that till he could no longer breathe again, then stood up and left the investigation room

"Are you done with him?" Jeremy asked

"Yes, I have, the poor guy is just there, sad. I think you should give him time to think about his choices" the killer said to him. 

"Which are?" Jeremy asked
