CHAPTER 3: First Meet

It's been a few hours since I ran away, and now I don't know where I am. The cold night keeps me hugging myself, the dress I am wearing is already ripped off. But other than that, my heart was so heavy. 

"W-why, dad?" I can't take this anymore. My dad just tried to sell me on that old man. Why does he need to do this to me? I sat on the floor, the sky looked mad at me too and along with my tears the clouds cried. The cold I am feeling began to rise even more as the rain touched my body. I don't know where I am right now. I hope someone can help me.

"Ariadne?" A voice called my name. I opened my eyes and looked around. I was laying down on the sidewalk. My eyes were still heavy, and my body feels like it doesn't want to get up. "Oh my gosh, Ariadne!" That voice. I know who is the owner of it. "What are you doing here?!" She keeps on asking, but my mind is still blurry. 

I smiled when I managed to look at her. I am right, she is here. My best friend is here to save me.

"Haria," I called her.

"Yes, it's me. Let's go, oh my gosh you badly need to go to the hospital!" She supported me but I shook my head. I don't want to go somewhere. "Fine, let's just go to my condo."

"What the fu—?!" I looked at her and frowned, and that made her stop from continuing what she wanted to say. "That man really did that to you?! I hate him!"

It's already morning. We are here in the living room and I am currently sipping the hot chocolate she gave me when she asked me to tell the story why I am even there in that dangerous place in the middle of the night. I told her the whole story, and now she can't believe that my father did that kind of thing to me. I, too, don't want to believe it.

When she saw my eyes, she stopped for a while and walked towards me, holding my hand. Her raging eyes slowly calmed down. "What are you planning to do now?" She asked. I shook my head, I don't know what to do anymore. I raised my head when she smiled at me. Ever since, she was the one who was there for me too, my best friend. "I know what to do, just stay here and be with me in this condo first," she said. I was about to say something when she covered my mouth. "No, don't say anything to protest. What do you want me to do? Let you sleep on the road? Hell no! So better stay here." 

I sighed. I know she will never let me win this time. "Okay. But, what about your boyfriend? He sometimes sleeps here with you right? What if he gets mad at you for letting me stay. I can't bear you two fighting just because of me."

She rolled her eyes. "What about him? I don't need his opinion by the way. And he can't be mad at you though, this is my condo and he can't do anything with my decisions. Still, you are my best friend."

"Did the two of you fight again?" I asked.

"No, it's just that I don't want to see him yet. He keeps on bothering me at work." I smiled at her. I know even though they were always having a fight, they are remaining strong. It's been 4 years and they are still together. 

"You need to talk to him."

"Whatever, let's just forget about our relationship. I heard that his cousin went here, and he is still running his business. Gray told me that he is looking for a secretary, do you want to try it?" Gray is her boyfriend.

"I don't think I can do that since I didn't even finish college. I am not sure if they will accept me as a secretary for a company." I told her. 

"You can do it! You don't need a degree to have that kind of job, I know you are very hardworking and that's what matters the most. You are also intelligent, if he doesn't want to accept you I will break up with Gray. I swear." I chuckled because of what she said. For some time, I managed to forget about my father and I am very thankful that I still have Haria with me. I feel so lost.

"I will try it." I smiled, she jumped at me and gave me a peck on my cheeks. 

"That's my best friend!"

I nodded. I also need to find a job since I need to help her with the expenses here in the condo. I don't want to be a heavy baggage for her. 

It's been 2 days since I went to her condo. And today, I will go to the company where Gray's cousin works. I still need to try this even though I am aware that they will not accept me because of the state of my education. I need to earn money. Haria went to work early in the morning. She wanted to go with me there to support me but I didn't bother her anymore. I took a taxi and when I was finally in front of the building, I took a deep breath. My hands were shaking because of nervousness, however I need to be brave, just for this day. 

"You are hired." My eyes blinked a million times when I heard it from him. What does he mean? I tried to smile at him even though I am still wondering why he accepted my application right away without even interviewing me. He just looks at my resume a single time and then boom, I am already accepted. That was so fast.

"You are not kidding, right sir?" I asked. He smiled, showing his dimples. I didn't know that Gray's cousin is as handsome and tall as him. It's running in their blood.

"I need to have a secretary as soon as possible, so you can start tomorrow if it's okay with you Ms. Gabriel." He told me.

"Sure, sir!" I said with a wide smile.

I stood and bowed my head at him. 

I thought that was the luckiest time I have, but what I thought isn't right. On the first day of working for him, I just saw him looking at me, staring at my body. I thought he was just observing my ability to work but I didn't imagine this would lead to a tragedy.

"S-sir…stop." I begged. At night, he made me go to the bar with him. Telling me that he will meet his business partner and I need to be with him. An hour has passed but he just keeps on pursuing me to drink alcohol while waiting, until I can't help but to do it for him. I got dizzy, my world was spinning until he carried me in this room, started to undress me and touch my body. 

"You are so sexy…" His voice was so husky. I am drunk, but my consciousness is still there. I am trying to move but I just can't. I want to run, run away from here, from him.

He started licking my bare shoulder while caressing my thighs. I can't help but close my eyes because of the sensation. I still have my bra and panties on, though I don't want him to remove those. Is this my last day? "Give yourself to me…I want to go deep inside you now." 

I bit my lips when his kisses started going down, his hands went outside my private part. Touching, caressing and rubbing it until he put his hands inside it. 

What's happening to me? 

Tears fell down my cheeks. My mind went back to reality. No, this can't be. I need to run. I tried my best to kick him as hard as I could. His head hit the cabinet that made him unconscious. I stood up and opened the door. My vision was blurry, I couldn't see the people so I was bumping into them until I found the way out. My head hurts, and I want to sleep. I touched something, it was hard and tried to open it until I felt something comfy.

"Ouch…" I touched my head. It's so painful. I think someone banged my head on the wall many times. When I opened my eyes, I saw a room. It was so elegant, every bit of this place doesn't seem to have any dirt. Everything looks so expensive.

Wait, where am I? I tried to recall what happened last night but my chest jumped in nervousness when I remembered it. That demon tried to rape me! B-But I managed to go out, so where am I right now?

I took the blanket off and saw that I am still wearing my bra and panties on. My heart was pounding heavily while thinking about the person who owns this room. I need to get out of here before anyone can see me.

I was about to stand up when a man came out of the bathroom, a topless man to be precise. He is staring coldly at me but what caught my attention the most is his body. 

He is so hot, he is only covered by the towel and the water from his hair is gushing down his body. I feel like I want to touch every bit of it. 

What am I even thinking? I shook that from my mind. Is this still because of what that demon made me drink last night?

My eyes widened when I thought of something. 

Did he does something to me while I am unconscious? I quickly covered my body and looked at him suspiciously, I moved backwards but stopped when he glared at me. 

"Who are you?" he asked.

"I am the one who should be asking that, right? What did you do to me and why am I here?" I tried to take a lot of courage to ask that. I need to be strong, I don't know if this man is one of the devils I am avoiding.

"Giovanni, and from now on you will be mine."
