May stared at him confused. Why on earth would he say that in front of everyone? Shouldn't he be made at her or what?

"Your girlfriend? That's all you could think of?" She whispered at him but he just smiled instead.

May stared at him, unable to determine what could be going on in his head. She looked at Caleb who is super furious. She did the same thing he did, holding his waist to annoy Caleb more.

"I see you're finally on the same page with me." Jared smiled at her.

She gave him back a fake smile and whispers, "I'll kick your ass again as soon as I get out of this."

Caleb scoffed, "Is this some sort of joke? Who the hell do you think you are to interrupt? You think just because I let you off earlier, I'll let you go today?"

Jared smirked, "I just came to take my girlfriend. I won't be using my fist on you again."

"I'm going to make you pay for this. Do you know who I am? My father is the CEO of the MM group..."

Jared arched a brow, knowing this guy just digged his own grave. He has shares in literally every prominent and working group in the country. He can make anyone go bankrupt with just one phonecall.

"Oh... That's your father? Thanks for telling me." Jared raised his hand, four bodyguards and his assistant came running to him.

This got everyone including May flustered. Who exactly is this guy? She knows who Caleb's father is, but she doesn't care about it. She knows her father would take care of it no matter how much he hates her, to keep his good reputation since that's all they ever care about. But something about him gives her shivers. She wondered if it's because they are too close.

"Matt, this young man right here is the son of the MM group CEO. He's been good to me, I want you to reward him." Jared said sarcastically.

"What is this jerk talking about?" They asked looking at each other.

"I don't know. Who does he think he is?"

Matt was confused, he knows Jared wouldn't be smiling like this if he is not pissed off. He could hear the sarcasm in Jared's voice. They've been together for seven years before Jared became the president, he knows what Jared is capable of doing.

"What should I do sir?" Matt asked him.

Jared shrugged, his expression turned cold. "Pull out all our investment and sell the shares at a very low price. We have the most shares right? I'm going to make someone else the CEO."

Everyone except Matt and his bodyguards gasped.

"Yes sir." Matt obeyed and got on his phone.

Caleb thought it was a joke when he saw Matt on the phone. Until his phone started ringing almost immediately, it was his father. This made his heartbeat increase, how fast did Matt work?

Caleb moved away to receive the call. His friends all looked at each other, getting worried that this guy may not be bluffing.

"Let's go Matt." Jared said still holding May.

"Let me go, I am not coming with you." May protested trying to free herself.

"You and I have a lot to talk about. I know you have a history with the police, you wouldn't want to visit them at this crucial time right?" He warned her.

She realized he was right. She can't go to jail now, she won't be able to graduate in a long time. Her parents won't stop talking about Debra for life. The pain made her succumb, she owes this man after all. She could wait to listen to him.

"You have five minutes." She said and walked away.

Jared chuckled, he turned to the others. "Take a picture of them Matt, I'd like to know what I can do for them too."

"What? No way!" They all dispersed before Matt could do anything.

Jared felt satisfied, "Let's go."

Two of Caleb's friends Justin and Freddy found Caleb who just finished receiving a call. Caleb looked pale like he heard that someone died.

"Hey, What's wrong man? Why are you like this?" Justin, his closest friend asked him.

"Talk to us man. Is this about that weird guy?" Freddy also asked.

"I'm done for. It's over for me." Caleb shook his head pacing up and down.

"What? Why would you say that?"

"That guy... He's Jared Holland. The CEO of the H & G group..."

"Hold it. You mean, the same H & G group we all know? The biggest one in the country?" Freddy inquired.

Caleb got mad, "Are you mocking me right now? Is there any other group like that?"

"What exactly did he do? Has your father gone bankrupt?"

"He made my family bankrupt in a matter of minutes, this is so freaking annoying! This is all May's fault! If she had not being a bitch, we wouldn't run into someone like him." Caleb gritted his teeth, as only hate ran through his mind.

Justin and Freddy gasped. "This is big shit. What are you going to do now? You have to beg him..."

"I can never do that! I'm going to make him pay for this. You just wait and see." Caleb fired, determined to get back Jared.

Justin shook his head, "Are you kidding me man? How can you get back at someone like that?"

Just when Caleb wanted to reply, he got a call from his father directly. He refused to pick up, knowing why his father must be calling him.

"Aren't you going to pick up? What if this is an important call?"

Caleb frowned, "It's none of your business. I'm going home."

Caleb walked away and went to the parking lot. He entered his car and drove home. On getting home, he heard some noises coming from the living room. As soon as he got there, everyone fell silent. His older brother Steve and sister Anna were there with his uncle and mother. His mother came straight to him with a huge slap across the face.

Anna rushed to their mother holding her, "Calm down mom please. Don't stress yourself over this."

"You idiot! What have you done?! Why won't you ever listen?!" She cried trying to free herself from Anna's grip.

"What did I do wrong?" Caleb protested.

"You idiot! You're asking what you did?! Your father's gotten a heart attack because of this!"

Those words made Caleb weak. Was this all happening because of May? Did he make a mistake in wanting to teach her a lesson?

"Mom calm down," Steve pleaded, he faced Caleb. "We told you to live quietly and don't cause problems. I don't know what you did to Mr Holland but you have to beg him. Father's not going to survive if we completely crash down."

"But I didn't..."

"This is everything your father worked for all his life! How are you going to fix this?! How?!" His mother cuts him off.

Caleb slowly walked out of the house in pain. He did not understand how he was going to fix this. Did Jared just ruin his family in a few minutes? How is he going to get Jared?

"This is all your fault May! You should pay for this!" He clenched his fists angry at no one.

His brother came out to meet him. "Caleb, now is not the time to shift blames on anyone. We should be thinking about a solution here. Go beg him. That's the only solution."

This made Caleb weak. Begging Jared Holland? It's the end of his dignity.
